Ask Leo / Hive - Is It Fair to Operate Multiple #hive Accounts and Secretly Supporting Through Community Curation ?
#rewardpoolrape was once a trending topic on Steem(it). It was kind of situation where a single user makes multiple posts and uses its own power for upvoting the content. There was a war like situation at that time, and everyone have their own say on the topic.
2 years down, so much have changed and #hive evolved and so does a fair voting system. But considering the fact that,
"Wherever there is power, greed, and money, there is corruption"
Hive.io is a proper ground having the mix of all three, so how could CORRUPTION stay away from #hive?
What will you call a situation, where a person operates different account in different names on #hive , and supports them through community power / curation?.
It is afterall their own content, publishing with different account having differrnt identity, may be they uses their family member to dodge being caught.
Will it be considered as #rewardpoolrape or fair game play or something that #Hive community are not aware of??
I doubt that there will be one off cases, might be there would be many such case. Users having certain power, or being into community curator role, may support their close pals. But what about curating own content from different account and end up making $100 /$200 worth of rewards for themselves??
Smart people work smartly to remain away from any kind of problem. But it will be interesting how far the game will continue on #Hive. Such users able to make money for themselves through using community power, and in process keeping many other users distant from being rewarded for their hard work.
Hope the community get notice of them to save their power being RAPED likewise. May be it is spread across all level.
What are your view on this subject?? Happy to get more insights.

Seems, you found out something ,but not mention here ? It is definitely disappointing to see someone in community curator role manipulating for own goals. They may be smart, but this would be a violation of ethics to purposely abuse the power they have.

I agree this is not fair as far as the ethics are concerned but how they are cornered....that is big question.
They definitely are not cornered - isn't there any place, where you could report it ? I know, revealing it publicly may create bad impact for you.
#rewardpoolrape was once a trending topic....but now i don't find any suitable ground to report. Let see...I put up a question to hive community ...if any big whales get hold of my post and direct...to stop such community abuse.
