Back To Silent Life - Travelling From City To Village (weekend experince)

One place which remain buzzing and overcrowded even late at night is the Indian Railway station. As I am travelling back to my native place on Saturday via train I am going to share some experince that I encounter. My train was about to leave at 10.40 PM and I reached the railway station a bit earlier. It is always good to be earlier than being late.

As you zoom in the image you will notice the number of people standing so late waiting for the train to approach the platform. I think, it is thr best happening place at night other than clubs and pubs where people reach in numbers.

As I had finished all my day activity I reached the station at 9 PM. Way to earlier than expected. Recently India celebrated 75 years if Independence, and glimpse of it can still be felt at the Railway Station building. Whole building lights up and illuminated with numerous light. One can see the tri colour shades on it.

There was a newly opened food joint at the station, and after looking for it, it noticed it at the north side of rsilway station. The food court remain open 24*7 and many famous fooding brands homes inside. It was small building still Dominos Pizza, KFC, Haldiram, Tea shops established themselves to cater the customer demands. While you are travelli g foods has always been a major problem. But this type of set up can easily solve all thr problems of long travellor.

I needed to spend some lonely hours before boarding my train. So I went inside looking for some beverages. However most of them were serving only cold drinks. Alcohol were not allowed after looking out for some options I found a small Tea & Coffee shop adjacent to domino pizza.

The shop is charging little extra then what we get in market. But you cant bargain. And having the benefit of location nobody argues with these shops. After looking at all the offers, I asked for Cold coffee. I wanted something to kill thirst as well as help me pumped up.

I like the way it was made, few scoops of chocolate ice cream, milk , sugar and 2 spoon of Nescafe. That's it..the refreshing smoothie is seved in front of me.

After refreshing and wandering at the station looking to find some pics for my content I ended up boarding athe train. The scene is very usual at station with people sleeping on the floor or talking. The station always remain buzzing with people and also with regular announcement about arrival and departure of train.

Once you get inside the train, buzzing sounds tranform into murmerring. With passengers speaking low volume and talking to each other. It was kind a sudden change of atmosphere. However the train hawkers keeps coming shouting for their stuff. And it going to be a 14 hrs journey. I bought a bottle of water in case I needed at night.

My train sets off from platform on time. Again I am saying good bye to a city where I raised and taught me many professional and other etiquette. As we were moving, I like the last dazzling look of thr city above the yamuna river. The city remain hustling and bustling.

After a good 14 hrs journey I reached ti my destination. Which is quite quite and isolated. Not like Delhi where there were more of crowds and noises. The platform is gives a very deserted look with hardly anyone moving around.

Such is the difference that keeps a rural place apart from urban area. The city alwsys shouts, while Rural always remain silent.

It was a good experince travelling over the weekend. This is story about travelling yesterday I.e Saturday (this weekend)
