Rusted but not Dusted! Heavy machinary Train.
Heavy iron machinary engine easily rolling over flat iron rails. It is a complete iron world, with everything made up of iron. When I say iron i am referring to huge and heavy iron.
You can not notice any smaller usage of iron. The history of train evolution is interesting and the science of making heaviest of the metal to run smoothly to long distances is always exciting and amazes. Even after running so many years, carrying loads or passengers to far away places The railway are not ready to give up. Even one notice old wagon and wheels with rusting signs, but they have long to go.
There is a great transformation over the year. What begin as steam powered transportation service now runs on diesel and electric. There is no steam based locomotives. Still the 20 metre long locomotive are the heaviest part of the railway. It carries all the heavy machinery part including the generator. They are the working horse of railway, that pulls number of wagon in its tail.
The length of a train varies depending upon the number of wagon that the engine part is ready to pull. A powerful locomotives can carry upto 16 to 18 wagon and that too to long distances. I did not get into details, but have traveled in one such train having 18 wagons. May be there are lessor or more than that.
A complete train is made up of pure iron metal. And it runs over the rail track that was laid down to far off places. Thanks to advance locomotives engine, a train can easily run at 140 to 130 kmph. I am not talking about the 3xpress trains and generally referring to regular passengers train. The 3xpress trains can easily notch h8gher speed above 250kmph. I shot these picture on recently walk to our station.
For a change due to some technical issue, few of the long distances train halted in our station allowing me to snap the pictures. The heavy iron machinary are rusted here and there but they have the power to cover many more journey. The old is gold and that trully stands for these railway Iron world.
