WELCOME TO OUR DAILY COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
12th March 2020
The Power House Creatives is a community of individuals on Discord who are proactively committed to producing quality content in multiple genres. Our key focus is to embrace and nurture content producers who genuinely add value to the Steem blockchain therefore offering our subscribers a feed which is filled with an array of interesting and read worthy content. Our discord community is incredibly active with daily initiatives, incentives and support structures. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE for plagiarism and do not entertain those who are not willing to go the extra mile for the community itself as well as their fellow community members. In short - we work hard and we play hard :) but above all, we stand together as a family.
These daily "community spotlight" posts are one of many regular support systems which we have in place within our server. We believe firmly in seeking out great content and highlighting it so that it gains the levels of exposure and support which it deserves. These spotlight posts serve a few purposes as you will discover below...
THE RALLY UPVOTE
Within our Discord server - Every day, we have what we call the "Rally Upvote" which is where we select one members post and every member in our community shows it the love it deserves with an upvote and a comment. We showcase it here too so that the rest of the Steem community also has the opportunity to give it some appreciation.

Wednesday Walk - Time of the Super Moon and New Feathered Friends
Mother Nature has been giving us some milder days this week with the Super Moon. I hope that adage that the weather you experience at the time of the full moon is what you can expect for the next while. I can do with warmer weather although it also bought a lot of snow which I could do without! I'll be sticking pretty close to the yard for this walk with some views of the snowy pine meadow behind our house and all the activity of the birds which has bought some new feathered friends to the bird feeder. And of course I'll be sharing some photos of the super moon. Traditionally it was called the "Worm" Full Moon but I think that applies for more southern regions for it will be quite some time before the ground thaws here and the earthworms start moving around!
THE DAILY MEMBER SUGGESTION
Within our discord server - Every day, one of our PHC members selects another members post which they really enjoyed and they submit it to be featured here. This encourages diversity in our community post promotion as well as support and is just another one of the many support initiatives which we have in place to nurture community and individual growth.
...... It's Monday Already ..And the weekend went by in a blur. I was sick with some sort of intestinal virus at the start of it, but recovered nicely. We had plans on Saturday, with family, so I am glad my health improved so we could enjoy ourselves. Saturday morning we had a breakfast at the high school that out nephew attends, to support the Cap-N-Dagger (theater) club he is a part of. Later that night, we went out to dinner and took in an Irish comedy show, with my brother, his wife and her parents. We had gone to a real nice local Italian restaurant, then ventured just down the street to the a nearby theater. It was in fact a funny show and fun was had by all. Our gold members are comprised not only of our longest standing members, but also those that simply go above and beyond within our server. Every day we select one of their posts to showcase here for all of you to enjoy as well as to show them that they are exceptionally valued members of our community! ...... It has been an interesting month since the last Weekly Zekely to say the least. Amazing amounts of work and fun, a gkobal virus, and a good amount of blockchain drama. I expect them all to sort themselves out for the better but will simply keep blogging as long as I have people enjoying the stories. So, here's to reflecting on a busy month and remembering what I got up to during nights with too many cups. Actually, lemme spin this a little different and let you know, with accompanying pictures, some of what I learned this month. Every day, we select and share one of our newer members posts here to show them that we value them as members and we appreciate the efforts they put into our community, as well as into their content... and obviously so that all of you can enjoy it too! ...... First of all I want to thank all of you for accepting me as a new PowerHouseCreative into your ranks. I saw this community already several times and always wondered what it is about. After some in-depth research I decided to apply to you and I am so happy that you accepted me. This here is my first entry to the PowerHouseCreatives and to one of your great contests by @zord189.
