Satire for the Singers

Don't bother, I'll wait for my serenade anyway

singers are good masons

they have no similarity with the artists

they don't know how to produce melodies with their voices

they are lousy at using words that usually rhyme

they do not have a good command of instrumental music

sometimes use their feet to produce musical melodies

singers are physically and emotionally unhealthy

they have an atrocious musical ear

some have a beautiful voice

lack the capacity for work and sacrifice

are highly disciplined.
