Crypto recap of 2022
We are in the last days of 2022 and I think we are due for a recap of what I think 2022 was all about.
Airdrops
This year two of the most hyped and with great impact in crypto since everyone started chasing airdrops after that.
First, it was the airdrop of optimism This was around 5000$ worth of airdrop for using the protocol 4 times. Some people earned 40k$ on this one airdrop.
The second was Aptos for the Aptos airdrop All you had to do was mint an NFT on the test net which took around 5 minutes and you get free 150 APT tokens worth 1500$ at the time of airdrop.
Congrats to the ones that took the easy money. I got the Aptos airdrop.

The year of collapsing
Luna
In May 2022 the collapse of Luna (UST). Ust lost its peg to the USD dollar after an attack on its native token fell by about 99.98%. That was the beginning of the ripple effects we are experiencing today

Three arrows capital
3AC was once the most prominent hedge fund in the crypto space with ath assets under management close to 18 Billion but the collapse of Luna fund them to open a highly leveraged $580 Million position in the asset which crashed to less than $1000 in a matter of days. After that 3AC couldn’t pay its margin calls. 3 AC directly affected

Genesis
Blockchain.com
The four of them were big 3AC creditors
FTX collapse
That was the shitshow of the century the one that movies and books will be written about.

So 2022 was a shitty year in crypto and the world overall

You are very lucky. For me 2022 was not good enough. I have also apply for many air drops but unfortunately I don't receive reward. I have remembered that also two years ago I have received some tokens from airdrop that was very happiest moment for me.

I would prefer not having found that post and still not knowing what airdrops and free money I all missed while being out working my ass off struggling to just basic survive
I should have stayed 'home' (have none) and took the airdrops, would have been worlds difference in more money and less work
