Israel Military Capabilities

The war between Israel and Hammas has reached the next level of ground invasions not to a full scale but it is close. What amazed me is the readiness and the state-of-the-art weapons and well-trained personnel Israel has at its disposal so I did some research to find out how powerful its army is.

source

Active Personnel: Israel had an estimated active military force of around 170,000 to 180,000 personnel. This includes both conscripted and professional soldiers serving in various branches of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Reserve Personnel: Israel relies heavily on its reserve component. The IDF had a significant reserve force, with hundreds of thousands of trained personnel who could be called upon in times of need. This reserve force is an integral part of Israel's defense strategy.
Right now the IDF called around 500,000 reserves .

Aircrafts

Fighter Jets: Israel operated various fighter aircraft, including F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, and F-35 Lightning II.

Transport Aircraft: The Israeli Air Force had transport aircraft like the C-130 Hercules for logistics and troop transport.

Reconnaissance and Surveillance Aircraft: Israel used planes like the Eitam/AWACS for reconnaissance and surveillance missions.

Helicopters: Israel had a range of military helicopters for various purposes, including transport, search and rescue, and combat support.

Navy

Submarines: Israel possesses a fleet of Dolphin-class
submarines equipped with cruise missiles.

Surface Vessels: It has a mix of missile boats and patrol boats for naval defense.

Missile Defense

Israel has developed advanced missile defense systems, such as the Iron Dome, David's Sling, and the Arrow system, to protect against missile threats.

Intelligence and Cyber Capabilities

Israel is known for its advanced intelligence agencies and cyber capabilities, which are vital for national security.

Nuclear Capabilities
While Israel has not officially confirmed its nuclear weapons, it is widely believed to possess a nuclear deterrent.

Israel has a mandatory military service requirement for its citizens. Both men and women are obligated to serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), with the duration of service varying depending on gender and other factors.

Men: Men in Israel are typically required to serve for about three years in the IDF. This mandatory service begins at the age of 18.

Women: Women in Israel are also subject to mandatory military service, but their service duration is generally about two years.

So what I conclude is that Israel resembles a military state that for some time let’s it’s soldier to become citizens for some time but calls them back on duty

A lot of oppression is being done there, this war must be stopped, otherwise many innocent people will lose their lives, the way so many children and how many elderly people have been killed so far.
