Spending My Sunday In The Peak Of The Worst Heatwave

Today was the hardest day of the two-week heatwave that is sweeping through Greece, Europe, and many other countries around the world. The heat in my city reached 43 degrees Celsius, making it almost unbearable. The heatwave has caused numerous problems for Greece, with fires breaking out in six different places, the most dangerous of which is in Rhodes island. I hope they can bring it under control soon with no casualties. Despite the challenges, it's essential to focus on the positive aspects of life and make the most of it. On days like this, I prefer to spend time at the beach with good company and, of course, enjoy safe and delicious food.

So, that's exactly what I did. I woke up early in the morning and took a boat, planning to spend most of the day on it and swim to cool myself down from the heat. I decided to go for a tour along the coast of Pieria, starting from Paralia Katerinis, then heading to Plaka Litoxorou, Platamon, and finally Porous. Even though there's more coastline to explore, I had to head back to my tour as I realized I hadn't eaten since morning. Thus, I made a stop at Paralia to visit Mandala and try the best sushi in town, prepared by none other than Mr. Li himself. I'm not sure if he's famous, but his sushi is absolutely delicious.
