Follow Friday: Beat the drum for Hive

Happy Friday everyone. I did my usual check on the prices. $HIVE is gradually improving, but is not going up the rankings on CoinGecko. It needs a bigger jump for that and what we do on #HivePUD may not be enough to make that happen. I know some people like a low price so they can buy more, but when it goes up then others are more likely to post. I would say you should post regardless of the current price as you are earning anyway and what you get could gain value. You cannot access it all immediately anyway. All my rewards go straight to HP.

Prices

Talking of #HPUD I encourage you to give some support to those using the tag to show they did power up. You cannot fake doing that as all our transactions are public. Those who may try to cheat the system soon get found out. I often say that reputation is hard to gain and easy to lose.

Although I did not really know her it was sad to hear that @dreemit passed away far too young recently. @surfermarly came back after a long break to say goodbye. There is a fundraiser to help out her family.

We never know what could happen to us and it is a reminder that we need to make plans for what happens to our accounts after we are gone. I have made some efforts on that, but ought to do more. Someone needs to know how to extract funds with some way to give them access to the keys.

Friday Follows

  • @ifarmgirl may be one of the older Hivers, but she is committed and has powered up every day for about 400 days in a row.
  • @giampaolo19 has also come back after a break. He is a drummer who has played with people such as Paul Young. He likes to share cool bears and put together a fun 'jam' with legend Ella Fitzgerald. There is a Hive community for drummers.
  • @philsaatchi is another professional musician who has played with some greats. He is posting lots of songs to Hive.
  • @mimismartypants has created a challenge on Strava to log 2023km of activity this year. A few Hivers are participating. It is all just for fun.
  • @epodcaster finally became a minnow. She has been very active promoting Hive on Twitter.

All these people get a share of the post rewards.

I will be compiling the latest #BritList tomorrow, so please let me know of any Hivers in the UK who I may have missed. I do searches based on profile location and some tags, but will always miss some. There are a few I am not sure about as they have not posted enough to show they are really here. I have seen people use a fake location to try to get more support, but I have to take it partly on trust.

I didn't know that Hive person either I don't think, but that is still pretty sad. It is good they had someone to let everyone know. If it had been me I am not sure my wife would know where to go to do all of that.

Same here. I need to educate the kids on Hive. I know there have been a few people from the community who have passed away, but that is inevitable with so many of us. Have to be prepared for the worst.

Very sad news about the lady passing away, she was indeed far too young!

People like to celebrate their milestones. You can post whatever you like, but you can see what reaction other people get. That's why it's good to follow a variety. I've been around here for so long that I take things for granted.

So I am finding. I am taking lessons from Drumeo, but may get a local teacher too. That may give me opportunities to play on real drums. I think the main thing is just to play more.

Happy Friday My dear friend. Though Hive price is not increasing as much as we want, but hive platform is on continuous development and news app/dapps are getting developed on the daily basis. Already launched app are enhancing their developed. We may be slow but we will surly going to win.

Thanks for alerting us to the news of the person we lost. I don't for a minute believe that this life is all that there is, and I'm confident that we continue on in another realm. Though I didn't know her, this is the first Hivian I've heard of who passed since I arrived here almost six years ago. Maybe someone can setup a memorial page to honor those souls who graced our community so that their light will forever shine on the blockchain.

Today HIVE is very good, unlike BTC and SP500. I had to exit yesterday's trade, changed the last HBD to HIVE.

I attended HPUD this month with a small amount of HIVE. While the one before was better. Thank you for sharing these analyzes with the multi-token chart. In the set of blockchains dedicated to social media, HIVE is performing well and appears to be the best

You are absolutely right if someone lies to gain support from the community it is absolutely wrong. You are doing a lot of good work to find and take action against such people's. Right now the price of hive is not going up but we will see it go up a lot in the coming days as there is a lot of work going on in this project.

Once I understood just how awesome Hive was, it became easy to evangelize it to the Web2 world. :-D

It can be hard to comprehend at first. We need to overcome suspicions about cryptocurrency to show people that it has great opportunities. I see Hive as being a better option for those who are not interested in just trading as it is social.

A fair few are on Audius already. There is also @nfttunz where you can sell music. I try to publicise fellow musicians.
