Hello Hive Music community. Greetings to all musicians and lovers of good music in here. I
hope y'all are fine and meet this post in good health and high spirits ...... This is Stefanovah and I'm here with my first entry for Retro Music and it's for week 2. I'm glad I'm able to share music with y'all. Thanks for giving me your ears and time.

A big shout out to @hivemusicc for this initiative and I hope to keep enjoying these trips down memory lane through the great entries here.... This week for my first time I'm bringing a song from the year 1979, a country music classic from the legendary Kenny Rogers titled Coward of the county.

The song talks about a young man who lived a life without violence because his father had made him promise not to go down that path. For this he was considered a coward and didn't mind, until one day he had to do what he had to do.... It was fun singing this classic but not easy as I discovered the song is more technical than I thought, being done in three different musical keys. I had to navigate the changes in key and also adapt to the Country music pattern of singing. I hope I did well with this and you enjoy this Retro Music.

Un gran saludo a @hivemusicc por esta iniciativa y espero seguir disfrutando de estos viajes por el carril de la memoria a través de las grandes entradas aquí... Esta semana por primera vez traigo una canción del año 1979, una música country. clásico del legendario Kenny Rogers titulado Cobarde del condado.

La canción habla de un joven que vivió una vida sin violencia porque su padre le había hecho prometer que no seguiría ese camino. Por esto fue considerado un cobarde y no le importó, hasta que un día tuvo que hacer lo que tenía que hacer... Fue divertido cantar este clásico pero no fue fácil ya que descubrí que la canción es más técnica de lo que pensaba, realizándose en tres claves musicales diferentes. Tuve que navegar los cambios de tonalidad y también adaptarme al patrón de canto de la música country. Espero haberlo hecho bien con esto y que disfruten esta música retro.
