Many of our achievements are the result of a lot of effort, which can involve suffering, pain and a lot of persistence. A major transformation is usually no different.

The tight cocoon and the effort required for the butterfly to exit through a small opening in the cocoon is the suffering necessary for the butterfly to exercise and strengthen its wings, which enables it to fly. If it refuses to make this effort, or receives "help", it ends up being unable to make it through the next stage, and will never be able to fly: "whoever tries to help a butterfly out of the cocoon, kills it. The seed destroys it". There are certain things that have to happen from the inside out." -Rubem Alves

It may be uncomfortable and require many attempts to get out of the place, but the only way is to try. To free ourselves from the fear of change, we must believe, in God, in our knowledge or in our intuition that change is possible. We need to recreate ourselves from what we believe is possible, rather than paralyse ourselves with our fears.

Suffering is painful because it takes us out of our comfort zone, the comfort zone may be a nice place, but nothing new happens there. The unknown, on the other hand, can be scary or cause suffering, but it is necessary in order to fly. After the suffering, you will feel your wings and nothing else will matter: you will have realised that there is no turning back and that you don't want to go back.
