Woo going to Denver

Hello everyone, yesterdag @woo-marketing published a post in which is told that the staffmembers @bookerman and @crimsonclad are going to Rare Evo con in Denver. Ofcourse we already knew this, as it was mentioned in the Discord. (Yes, you definitely should join the discord ;) But I think it's important that they are taking these steps. In this post I'll try to explain why I think it's important.

Link with the real world

I think that for cryptoprojects, it's always good to have a link with the 'physical world' as it gives some credibility to a project. WOO is already partnered with real wrestlers and managers: Perry Saturn, Raven, Sonny Onnoo and Terri Runnels. Probably more will come in the future. I already mentioned tht Bookerman and Crimsonclad are going, but they will take Sonny Onnoo with them aswell!

Attracting people from outside Hive

Another important aspect is that at the convention, a lot of different people will be present. So it's an opportunity aswell to spread the word about hive in general while talking about WOO. This way new people can discover WOO and Hive. Besides WOO, other projects from Hive will be present aswell, like @aggroed from Splinterlands. It's always nice when forces can be bundled.

Getting new insights

When you're at such a convention with all of the top players in the blockchain space, it's alwayq a good idea to network to spread out the word on one hand but on the other hand to listen to other people aswell. So we could get some new ideas about how we could improve WOO and hive even more.

I'm glad that Bookerman was able to grab this opportunity, I hope everyone present will have a wonderful convention, be able to network and spread the word about WOO and Hive!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities).
