What I think of the book I found this book to be a literary gem, but also a challenge. Its language, ideas, and emotional depth demand attention, reflection, and openness. There are moments when you feel identified with the protagonist, especially if you have ever felt that you don't quite fit into the world or that there is a constant struggle within yourself. What I liked most is how Hermann Hesse manages to express that feeling of existential emptiness without falling into total pessimism. Despite the pain and confusion, he leaves open the possibility of understanding, balance, and self-acceptance. Reading Steppenwolf was like looking into the mirror of my soul. It made me think about my own contradictions, my dark and light sides, and how we all, in some way, carry within us a “wolf” that seeks freedom and meaning. Without a doubt, it is a book that is unforgettable, that hurts, teaches, and transforms.

Lo que pienso del libro
Este libro me pareció una joya literaria, pero también un reto. Su lenguaje, sus ideas y su profundidad emocional exigen atención, reflexión y apertura. Hay momentos en los que uno se siente identificado con el protagonista, especialmente si alguna vez ha sentido que no encaja del todo en el mundo o que hay una lucha constante dentro de sí.
Lo que más me gustó es cómo Hermann Hesse logra expresar esa sensación de vacío existencial sin caer en el pesimismo total. A pesar del dolor y la confusión, deja abierta la posibilidad del entendimiento, del equilibrio y de la aceptación de uno mismo.
Leer El lobo estepario fue como mirarme al espejo del alma. Me hizo pensar en mis propias contradicciones, en mis lados oscuros y luminosos, y en cómo todos, de alguna manera, llevamos dentro un “lobo” que busca libertad y sentido.
Sin duda, es un libro que no se olvida, que duele, enseña y transforma.
