Mother Stork and Baby Stork

Every year storks come to my village to nest. The baby storks that hatch from the eggs continue to stay here until they complete their development. It is estimated that there are 70 stork nests in this region. I saw that there were 5 of them near our house. They usually make their nests on power poles. This year, our municipality moved their nests two meters higher so that the storks could fly without hitting the electric wires.

I am happy to see them at the beginning of every summer. There is also superstition here. It is said that if you see a stork flying in the air, you should make a wish. An ancient superstition.

I had the chance to take these pictures last month. While watching the sky on the terrace of my house, I heard a "knock knock" sound. When I looked in the direction of the sound, that is, on the roof of the next building, I saw a mother stork and a baby stork. The two of them were chatting among themselves. They were so cute that I sat and watched them. They just stood there on the roof of the house for an hour and then flew away to their nests. I immortalized these moments.
