More Blues woes - Guardiola Tremble on? - Epl Weekend roundup

The football season is gradually ending. The champions of different leagues have been confirmed while some are still battling it out. So I'd be looking at a few key points of what happened during the weekend; from Guardiola's 3 peat to Nottingham Forrest's survival, Roberto Firmino's emotional moment, etc.

GUARDIOLA OWNS EPL

It just feels like Pep has come to England, assembled a super team, and turned the once-competitive EPL into a farmers league. Adding Erling Haaland to the squad earlier this season should have been illegal. The Citizens were confirmed champions yet again after Arsenal suffered yet another loss after the three-nil thumping from Brighton and Hove-Albion. The Citizens went out against Chelsea at the Etihad to a guard of honor. That is five EPL trophies in six years, and three in a row. They took another three points against Chelsea thanks to a sole goal from Julian Alvarez. In addition, Pep is still on course to win the treble and join Manchester United as the only two teams to achieve that in England. INSANE.

Nottingham Forest Escape the Drop

It was all joy for foresters as Nottingham ended Arsenal's title hopes thanks to Taiwo Awoniyi's strike. The Nigerian has been on fine form in front of goal after his return from injury, scoring five goals in his last three games. This strike ensured his team stayed another year in English Top flight league after their promotion the previous year.
