My Weird Night Ritual

Every human on earth have like this routine that likes to engage in every now and then. Sometimes it's personal, other times it can be with family or friends or however. The thing with these routines is that they can be very daunting at first, but as time goes on, you tend to get used to them and they become a lifestyle. I remember during the pandemic when everyone was going nuts. The pandemic fully ushered in the age of remote work, and companies started to realize they didn't have to pay so much for a space. It was the greatest of time, but one of the things that got us through the year was 'routine'. Getting up from the bed, taking a shower, dressing up, etc. All these activities helped us stay sane. These days I still wake up, get in the shower, then groom myself afterward, wearing cologne and all, only to go back and sit in front of the fucking computer, lol.

0.1% chance that you are actually reading or care about this crap I'm writing. Well, I wanted to share with you guys my night routine. It helps me sleep better and feel a lot more refreshed for the new day.
  • Around Ten PM, I start the compline. It's a night prayer from the divine office in catholicism. It has some beautiful psalms and hymns. Always an enjoyable thing.

  • Next, I take out time to do something productive no matter how little it is. Do some hive interaction or posting.

  • My final activity before bed, which is the main reason I'm sharing this post is to read a book. Whenever I read a book during the day, I feel like I have achieved peak productivity myself. I also try to keep some books at the bedside just in case I woke up and feel like reading.

Well, there you have it, your daily dose of weirdness n the hive blockchain is legendary. Cheers.

Having routines is important! When things change our routines sometimes it’s difficult to adjust for sure. Throw this whole health crap into it and our routines were totally screwed up which is more than what some can handle sadly. I was able to adapt but I have changed my routine a lot.

One routine I could get used to is reading before bed! I read comments I guess so that counts sort of lol but I need to read books. Preferably paper books! Not one on my phone. I have a few things I need to get for books and hopefully can get one or two of them this year, they are older books but full of important information.

I agree, haha.

Reading comments counts for sure :). I see you everywhere, lol.

Getting a hardcopy book would be great too.
