SPREAD LOVE NOT...

I was going to say spread love not legs but I won't say it, grin. I am writing this post, stomach-filled, chilly weather, all good but I am a bit livid. My Rep is stuck on 69.99. I mean, what sorcery is that????? I was going to write a post about how far I have come and all, celebrating the thing but alas, NOT TODAY, said Arya.

Yesterday, after sitting in the house all day, the hum-drum was killing me so I decided to go and eat out. Anytime I do these I almost always see someone to help or talk to. It's one of the reasons I love being on the field. I did see a woman though. I was trying to buy Akara (bean cake) and this woman walked up to me and asked me to help her out as she was hungry. She made a mouthing sign. I got her some Akara and saw she was going to eat just that, but then I went ahead and got her some bread. She was really thankful. The bear market has been incredibly harsh on me and at that time I didn't have much but I couldn't pass up the chance to put a smile on someone's face. Now to the main part of why I am writing this. As I walked back from the eatery I saw this shoe-maker. A northerner. He smiled at me, of course, I smiled back. That smile made me remember I had a footwear due for repair, so I summoned his services. As we walked a few minutes down to my place we got talking. A very cheerful lad. He tried greeting some old lady in the afternoon but said Ekaro instead. I laughed and said it was afternoon already and his attempt was wrong but commendable. He was surprised I could speak the language but I wasn't from that part of the country. We started talking about money. He told me how he left his father in NIGER and how he is here searching for greener pastures. He says he calls his father occasional and all. It was a beautiful moment. We talked about a lot of things. Religion, people, life, God, etc. A guy I had only just met, and only found out his name was Abdulahhi at the last minute of his departure. He made my day. That smile. That smile we exchanged created a friendship. We still contact each other.

After all my mumbo-jumbo, the simple message here is to SMILE. It could be all that someone else needs. Spread love. Help people, be kind. Change the world one person at a time. Like my favorite speaker always say, before you change the world, clean up your room. As a metaphor, that means starting from your little space. There is my two cents of jibber-jabber for today's episode. Hope to see you next time, cheers.

I totally agree with you @stevenson7 . Let us spread love and not hate. Love is what the world needs. Let live and let love rule the world always.

The bear market is really hitting everyone hard. I'm frustrated at this point sincerely.
