Splinterlands Town Hall Recap, Land Survey and SPS Giveaway

I hope you have a good day. This is a longer video. The first half covers the main points of the Town Hall. Then the second part is me doing a live land claim on the Mav server. We have some issues on the Mav server right now so I had to do a bit of an odd cut as I went to figure out how to survey the land.

The big points I covered are in here but also ask if you would support a change of TOS to say no more bots in tournaments. Also, no helpers are allowed. So a project like xbot would have to stop. When it comes to private bots we would have to try and prove it with tools that have been made by some projects and then you get a ban from all Tournaments with prizes from the SPS Dao, Splinterlands and there is an option to ban them when 3rd party people make a tournament. Bring Tournaments back to real players? I just want to see what people think.

Also, man getting so man forest what will do will all my fire guys hmm I bought the wrong monsters it seems by making them even. There will be a lot of trading later on.

I am against bots as a whole. If you're going to ban bots in tournaments, just ban them from the game itself. I think the ones complaining about bots in Tournaments are bot users in ranked, and don't play ranked anymore. They are just now experiencing the power of optimized bots and keep losing.

Now I know the team won't ban bots in ranked, so they shouldn't ban it in tournaments as well. This is what the game is turning into, bots vs bots. Even if they remove the helpers, what's stopping others from putting it in a website that can get all your card info, and just help from there?

Thanks, Steve, for showing us how it works.
I was surprised by your extra "RARE" plot.

Do you think they will let people Survey a TRACT if NOT ALL 100 PLOTS on that TRACT are claimed? My problem is if you own 80 Plots out of the 100 for the TRACT and open a KEEP already, why would the free MARKET claim their PLOT on that TRACT?

So I have been asking if they would only require SURVEY TRACTS that have all 100 PLOT Claimed before you can Survey. I just think it is a design issue, and if there is not CHANCE to get a KEEP, most people will not CLAIM that remaining PLOT on that TRACT.

There is no way they can ever ban helpers. There are no automated inputs.

Watched til the end even though I dont own any land. Honestly, the whole land gameplay seems complicated and doesn't look like a lot of fun. I also don't believe that land owners are going to have this game breaking advantage over non land owners which imo they would have to in order to justify the price of land.

I don't quite get why they're making land that way. That'll end up with some "unopened" lands being definitely not be able to roll the "jackpot" rolls isn't it? 🧐

Thanks Steve! Ban the bots, every teams "fight" (except new energy system) with bots hurt usual players.

I think bots should not be allowed in tournaments or brawls. For example XBOT has an extra service that assists in playing in both for extra DEC. While that is a great source of revenue for XBOT it sure makes it unfair for tournaments or brawls.

Definitely bots should not be allowed in tournaments. I just don't know how u will stop them.
Good thing you can always sell ur assets or trade assets to get the ones u need for the lands you have.
