Introduction

Ok so last week we launched our SUB coin on Hive Engine as a soft launch without any information but just a plea to support us making music and for what we do on hive to support others. I have to say we were overwhelmed with the response and we have already sold 3700 of our token! This represents over 7% of the token supply already gone! Here is a bit more information, we will be putting more out in due time about financial projects and the plan for the 3 years following the album launch.

We are happy to discuss this with anyone and if you have a podcast or a discord chat you would like to invite us too one of us would be happy to come and say hello! As while we are promoting this for ourselves will will also be putting it together as a way to promote Hive and a model for independent record companies and artists to come to Hive!

What we are doing.

Did you ever want to own part of an album? Did you ever want to be part of band or a big record owner? well we decided to give people the chance to own part of our new album that is due to be launched in September 2024. By owning part of this album you will then start to receive any mechanical royalties from streaming, sales or NFTs.

A little bit more about us.

Yes we are the crazy boys in masks…yes we make cool music….yes we do have over 340 million gif views just on Giphy….yes we have been working in the music industry for years….yes we run our own media company, “Stick Up Media”…..yes we have our own record label, “Stick Up Music”..... we have music in films and TV across the world….yes we are a trained and dedicated team - ten Stick Up Boys and a support network around us……yes you could be a Stick Up Boy too….

Why a token?

Why not? We want to use this as an opportunity to develop another model for independent musicians on Hive. WHile this project is not decentralized, the decentralized nature of Hive means people can see us on chain and can see our reputation and the support we get, hopefully given them confidence to support us.

We also believe that we can do well with this project and having some financial support will help to promote the album. On top of this also having 100’s of people invested in the album and feeling part of it will enable a greater reach for the marketing and promotion of the music.

Tokenomics

SUBs will only be able to be bought off the market for 1 hive each, there is a maximum supply of 50k tokens. We will sell them in 10k tranches.

Finances

What we will do with funds:

• No Hive will be taken off chain from sales.
• We will power up all HP to ensure we have a strong account and the token is asset backed to the buying price of 1 hive.
• HP will be delegated to the best paying APR projects to secure an ongoing income which will be used primarily to fund small promotions for the music.

What is the deal?

• The 50k Tokens sold represent 50% of the mechanical rights of the whole album including instrumental mixes. So by owning 1000 SUB tokens you own 1% of this
• All tokens will be sold at 1 hive. There are no trades or OTC deals.
• The albrm will consist of 12 main songs
• There will also be 12 instrumental versions of the songs
• There will be various remixes of the songs and will be confirming them nearer the time.

Dividends

• This is purely a dividend token and will obtain dividends in the following ways:
• You will receive monthly divs from 4 months after the album launch and they will be paid monthly.
• You will receive dividends from all NFT sales on Rising Star and NFT showroom as well as any other projects we use.
• You will receive dividends from all mechanical streaming royalties from all streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon etc as well as the use of the video in things like You Tube of Instagram Reels.
• You will receive dividends from all download sales these will be available for download from our website and from Amazon and Beatport.
• You will receive dividends from any sample sales or sample kits we use making the album.
