Onboarding musicians and helping them mint a record on Rising Star
Introduction
We love Hive a lot and are still working hard onboarding people, especially musicians although soon we are going to branch out to our friends in the theatre and film industry. It is not easy onboarding people as well many of you know and it take alot of time to get them understanding how to post and how Hive works. However we have been working with the legendary Phil Saatchi to get him on Hive and sharing some of his cool music and videos. If you want you can give him some love @philsaatchi
How are we doing
Well Phil is an award winning writer and producer we have known a long time. We managed to help him get on and do his introduction post. We then went back to help him start to post videos as he loves making videos and also got him thinking about doing the Hive Open Mic.
So far so good as he has posted a few videos and is getting into the swing of things with comments and engaging. This is not necessary a natural process for musicians and artists. Also getting him to write some information about what he is doing is also a challenge but I think that will come with more time.
We are planning to refine the process but getting epople on Hive is not easy, it is even harder getting them to understand their responibility to the hive community and engagement. However we are so dedicated to Hive we hope that by getting some quality artists on here it will help grow the exposure.
First NFT on Rising Star
We thought it would be nice for him to mint his first NFT so we helpped him through our Label Stick Up Music @stickupmusic mint a song of his called Rise and Fall. Which is a lovely and catchy little blues number. You can find it on the records page of RS for 30k SB. I think it is an amazing thing for a musician of Phils calibre to be able to mint their first NFT on Hive and on the best musical blockchain game on the planet!

Well done Stick Up Boys!
It can be a bit tricky to get people the see all the value this ecosystem has to offer. Awesome to see Phil make it here with a little help from the Stick Up crew.
Going to check out his stuff on Rising Star and give him a follow.
Awesome stuff, it take a lot of work setting them up and then regular follow up work....
appreciate the support we really want music to thrive on hive!
Great job onboarding more and more people mate!
Idk if you have it already but it could be cool if you had a "Join Hive" button on the website :D
!PIZZA
that is a great idea! !PIZZA
Great idea! Maybe this can be done on the new @cinetv frontend? Looking at @papacrusher & @raymondspeaks here :)
That'd be cool also :D I was mainly thinking @stickupboys had a button on their own website but any website that can should have it!
Both great options :)
