Playing with AI art - It's all in the details - does size really matter?

AI

Super close-up didn't work out too well last time, so let's have a gander at a focal point and perspective image. This one is quite detailed, so it will be interesting to see if it can really pick up on the accents in different ways and really morph them into something unique. Or will it get too confused with all the small details and not pick up on anything significant at all? Challenge accepted.

Really nailed the hand sketch look, but it just looks like a sketch of a residential neighbourhood and it seems to have lost or ignored the urban city feel and dark ask.

This doesn't give urban-feel at all, in fact, it makes me think of Pleasantville. Need to switch up the verbiage and get back to the sweet spot of grunge.

Sadly Ghibli Studio is letting me down this time around, when it worked so well in the Beach Huts scene. It also doesn't seem to be picking up much of the asking or generating much change to the details in the phot. Time to go straight out of the box and try some cyberpunk.

There's the post-apocalyptic scene that we know and love! Now it feels like we've ventured to Tokyo and the few that have survived are making sure they keep people off the streets. I'm seeing more graffiti and definitely grungy, but it's completely transformed the image so it look nothing like the original.

And not we're back on the streets of the Mary Poppins set. It's brought back the integrity of the image, but it's not giving the grit that we need of the urban and harder feel.

Tried to see if actually using the style of Sketch would make the image look hand drawn, instead of having to ask it in text. And it does, but it also eliminates all colour and effect. Interestingly, it doesn't seem to pick up adding any graffiti to the buildings, when they clearly could.

Since it didn't do it the last time, I'm going to specifically ask for it this time, and success! Although, it's gone a little overboard with trying to add some sort of engravings in a graffiti like form on the bridge. Definitely moving in a better direction!

Now we're getting somewhere! Even though it's sunk one of the cars, and ultimately turned the the entire town into a garbage dump, at least we are straying away from the 'perfect residential neighbourhood' feel.

Conclusion

This was a great lesson on being specific when talking to the generator. Just scratching the surface this time to tell it exactly what to do, like 'put graffiti on the buildings'. Perhaps my descriptions need to be more direct at painting the direction and picture of the final outcome.

Omg!! This is so real.
While I'm still focusing on improving my traditional art skill, I believe it's time to incorporate digital art.

this looks awesome it can definitely put those "artistic" bunch of hype driven money hungry people out of business cause it proves that it takes no skills to make art.
