Rising star new cards day and Dad Joke award!

Introduction

We thought we would do a weekly update on what we are up to and how we are doing on Rising Star. Although we missed the last few weeks as it was Christmas and all! It was an exciting day yesterday as it was new cards day and we have already been opening some packs!

Our progress so far

We are currently in position 21st on the leader board and seem to be holding steady there.

Favourite cards for the week

It is new card day week so we want to highlight a few cards this week that we love. Now this card seems quite popular on the discord, no idea why. Good work @theturtleproject for adding his wife to the game.

However our fav card this week is our good friends @tdctunes modular set up which is now an awesome card

Dad joke award

We love looking at the jokes on new cards and the puns, especially because they are proper dad jokes and @jux works in the Christmas cracker joke factory.

We had to mention Brian Enos as he is a lege...

However the winner is a Guns and Roses reference which we can hear Jux singing as he wrote the card....proper Dad moment!

The Stick Up Boys tip for the week

This week our tip for newbies is come to the discord, listen to the music and be part of the community. This is a big part of the game and if you are not doing this we feel you are missing out. It is such a nice place to be and their is some great music on the game. So do more than just click your missions live in the Rising Star game a little bit and become part of it like so many people have. You never know you might even become a card like us!
