Rising star weekly update and new cards day - dad joke award!
Introduction
We though we would do an update on what we are up to and how we are doing on Rising Star. Today was happy new cards day which is always a good day to celebrate Rising Star as it is always exciting to see what the team have come up with.
Our progress so far
We are currently in position 20th on the leader board and there has been a bit of movement in the leaderboard lately! We worried that @ketsuma and @freedomprepper are not far behind.
Favourite card for the week
Well today is happy new cards day. We love all the cards on Rising Star but we particularily like one with the best "dad Jokes" on them that @jux writes so we are going to mention a few of the new cards today.
OK so Jo is a lean fella....well its a clasic pun and also a great song!
However it is not a good anough one compared to poor old Neil....

The Stick Up Boys tip for the week
This week our tip for newbies is to think ahead and dont start different features until you are ready. The updates on the Music Promotor are great being able to see the value of Star Pro and Starbits but dont get involved until you know how they work. Ask in the discord about a feature before throwing some starbits in there! If you put 100 Starbits in music promotor for example you will probably not get anywhere! The same goes with record staking, you need some significant ammounts of starbits to make a difference. So our advice is to build up your fans to get more starbits for these parts of the game.
Our NFT records in the game
As musicians one of our favourite things is having our records in the game! You can buy our records as well as stake on them. This is an amazing thing for artists to get more exposure for their music and earn a few starbits. It is also a brilliant way for you to support artists on the blockchain! Here is our record suggestion for this week that you can go and buy now!
Dust of the Streets was a fun collab we did with the marvelous @tdctunes. It is a little different for us but is a fun track!

My stack of SB is gone, you don't have to worry about me overtaking you ^^.
As you mentioned your music in the game. I wanted to buy all of the NFT's, I didn't buy already, but almost no musician has minted more than the initial 25, some have minted 50, but there is no newly minted NFT's for the "old" music. I can't buy most of them.
That is a shame, because there are buyers out there, who'll look one or two times and will then forget about this feature of the game, which presumably should be the most important for musicians.
