Introduction

This is all about the mystery of wonder that is Gribbles @gribbles Now we love Gribbles for so many reasons. Now only does he make synths that sound like they are made by angels, not only does he make songs that stick in your head but on top of that he is a really nice chap. He is also named "British electronic wizard" which is an apt name as when we get some audio from Gribles we know it will be magic!

We we have to mention here that we are biased as we have collaborated a few times with Gribbles and the first song we want to share is one of our favourite songs we have collabed with him.

Now on the next song we want to highlight called "Here" you can hear his lush layers and melodies that transport you into another world. Sit back and listen with your eyes closed and you will be taken to a wonderful world. YOu used to be able to get this as an NFT on Rising Star and we are hoping he mints some more there!

Now if you dig a bit deeper into Gribbles you will find that he has some excellent political slants to his songs. We were looking for one he did with Borris Johnson, where is that @gribbles? But this dark piece takes you to a place that is both sinister and worrying and demonstrates the depth of what Gribbles can do.

Aw. You guys.

Thank you for that. I'm regularly pleasantly surprised that folk seem to like my stuff. I mean I work hard to make it as good as I can, of course - but still it's great when folk take time out to listen and tell me they like what I do. Especially when there's so much other good stuff vying for their attention.

As I think I've said here recently - you guys picking up Existence and turning it into Existence Evolved was such a buzz. I'm so pleased our paths crossed. And it's been loads of fun doing the other tunes with you too. More soon, eh.... 😉

The political stuff you mentioned is here and there. The partygate song isn't on Spotify, though - but it is on Soundcloud. Enjoy...

And to anyone who likes what they hear, I've started posting the odd blog post again on hive.blog and I'm seriously considering restarting the listening chain again at some point - so may be worth giving me a follow on here if you're interested...

But in the meantime thanks again to those masters of melody, those barons of beats, the gratuitous gifmeisters and selfless supporters of indie musicians. I give you the terpsichorous trio themselves, the most wonderful @stickupboys.
