RE: Design and Architecture of Selasa Communa Coffee Shop

Amazing! 👍 Another awesome coffee shop discovered @isdarmady! It's precisely an outdoor type of establishment since most of the customers are served outside. I admire the dry garden concept which is more economical and easier to maintain due to its gravel floor with a substantial amount of green elements around.

Though gravel floors are quite challenging for women in high heels and for pointed chair legs that use this base as support, there are practical ways to solve the inconvenience.

Providing a plain concrete walkway with a small width would probably do the trick and perhaps guests could also wear flat shoes to ease their passage thru the various spaces.

What are your recommendations? 😊

Yup, that's absolutely true, the concept of a dry garden is certainly more economical than other gardens. In addition, maintenance is also easier, of course. I often see cafes or restaurants with a garden concept that only last a few moments when they are not cared for properly.

The simplest way to prepare a stepping stone. It's cheaper and easier, because we can't possibly recommend not wearing high heels when it comes to coffee shops. Many women are very confident when using high heels.

Thank you for stopping by @storiesof and thank you very much for response and opinion.

Yes, everything you said makes sense! There are always practical ways to solve design problems and as long as they're implemented well, an assured flow of happy customers is definitely guaranteed for the business. The best of life always @isdarmady! 😊
