Scrobble.life for Books - Still Trying to get there ...
I'm really glad to see the Scrobble.life site taking off. Since my introduction a month ago, and subsequent learning experience regarding film reviews, there seems to have been quite a bit of activity. And movie reviews are only one aspect. The other one have to do with books.
It looks like there have been plenty of book reviews posted since the last time I visited this site. This makes me quite optimistic, since the last time Scrobble.life didn't seem to be that prepared for written media. To quote @acidyo regarding book reviews, "We can only utilize free API's such as wikipedia, so there's some inconsistencies all over the place." Fair enough. Also, not being in a rush, I just focused on films and series first. But seeing that over the past three days people have submitted two, three, or even four book reviews at a time, I am suspecting that these have been posted previously. Did these folks manage to scan their posts for book reviews?
Looking for the Scanner
The most exciting moment for me on Scrobble.life was when it did a scan of all my posts published on the Hive blockchain, looking for reviews. It identified not only the TV series from my Binge on This collection, but those few and sparse posts, where I ended up reviewing (sort of), or simply giving an opinion on a handful of feature films. All of them got neatly integrated into the platform.
Then I was hoping to do the same for books. And even though I've never posted anything about anime, manga, or comic books of any kind, it could have at least scanned for them! And I'm sure it would have, had I only been able to find that scan function again. It simply vanished! Or maybe it's just me who can't manage to find it again...
Books to find, link, and integrate
I know, many of the posts in my Bibliophilia collection are about various books at a time. If that is the actual problem, I would be happy to write a separate review for each one. But these are the posts that deal with only one book each:

These eleven books I would really not want to post another review of, since I would probably end up writing the same things about them again. On the other hand, if Scrobble.life somehow managed to integrate my reviews into its database, I would feel encouraged to post other reviews too, starting out with the ones I've kinda mentioned in my other posts, but properly this time. In any case, the big issue that still remains is still:
If you're talking about the option to "scan" books or book reviews or any content challenge that can be registered on Scrobble... I have no idea, we'll have to ask @acidyo directly. If I remember correctly, he told me it's something you only activate once, and that's it. After that, I think you'll have to register everything manually or just upload it through the Scrobble website.
Ahhh... individual logging, manual registering, going through the Scrobble website... You know, I kinda feel like this is going to lead to another HowTo-Guide, like this one I wrote. Of course I'll have to figure out how things work first, but then it's totally worth it. The many thankful comments show that it's not for naught!
No automated scanner yet, there's only like 4 logs yesterday?
If you know any other good free API's other than wikipedia for books, I'd be all ears to implement them.
