Happy Fried Chicken Day!!!

Good morning! Apart from the International Kissing Day art I posted yesterday, there is another one that is celebrated yesterday. It's the "Fried Chicken Day".

Well, it may be already the 7th of July here but other countries are still on the 6th day so this post is still valid. Lol!

There are lots of fast food restaurants where fried chicken is sold. We all know about the McDonald's and KFC chicken but for my art, I am showcasing to you the best and most popular fried chicken in the Philippines. The Jollibee Chicken Joy!

A bucket of Chicken Joy!!!

Jollibee is a Philippine fast food chain established on January 28, 1978. It is the biggest and most popular fast food chain in the country with 1000+ branches you'll actually find a Jollibee store everywhere in the town and city. The Jollibee is the McDonald's Philippine counterpart catering a taste that is more likened by Filipinos, especially the kids. (I know Filipino kids love Jollibee more than any other fast food chain.) Because aside from the delicious and cheaper foods, the fast food chain is represented by a smiling and "jolly-looking" chunky bee named Jollibee. Jollibee's face is every kid's weakness and a pain in the wallet for the parents. Haha!

One of the foods people really love and Jollibee takes pride in is their crunchy and juicy Chicken Joy. The chicken itself already taste delicious but it taste best with the gravy. I don't know why the fried chicken is called chicken joy, maybe if you eat it will bring you joy.

Going back to my drawing above, I drew a Chicken Joy bucket with a drumstick chicken and gravy out the bucket. If you have noticed, I changed the spelling of the brand into Jolli"bae" and changed Jollibee's expression to fit the word Jollibae. I made Jollibee do a smirking face. Lol.

Isa pa! Isa pa! Isa pang Chicken Joy! Ang husay ng brand management ng Jollibee sa part na yan. Though sa akin, spaghetti nila ang gusto ko.

Pero bilang Fried chicken day itong post na ito, when it comes to fried chx, KFC talaga ang pinaka bet ko. Ang gravy, pwedeng sabaw. Hahaha

Di ko pa na-try gawing sabaw ung gravy. hala. hahaha Flavor shots madalas ko kinakain ko sa kfc noon, pasok kasi sa baon. 😂 bet ko ung mushroom soup at mashed potato nila. hahaha

I love the Jolly Chicken! xD But a few years back, I also fell in love with Bonchon's flavored once, and choosing between the two is a gruelling feat. 🥴 Your drawing definitely resembles Jollibee's fried chicken, and it doesn't help that I'm now craving for some. LOL.
