My First Lucid Dream

Shockingly, at the most unexpected time, I was able to experience a lucid dream. It was my first lucid dream. The dream wasn't long because I got terrified when I was able to control my dream causing me to wake up. 😩

The dream began of me, my mother and aunt walking to the wet market. It was night and the street was very dark because the street lights were switched off. I almost feel blind because of the darkness, not even the approaching motorcycle had its light turned on. I was able to hear its engine that's why I was able to warn my mother to stay on the side. If I didn't notice the approaching motorcycle, it could've hit us and that would be a very bad dream.

Later on, it seems that we've already got what we needed to buy and we're now riding a tricycle which looks more like a tuk tuk, the tricycles in Thailand. And then, suddenly our car just drove passed by us and parked at one corner. (I don't know why our car was out on the street and who was driving it because the windows are tinted.)

Suddenly, I realized I was in a dream and instantly remembered about controlling dreams. I then tested it on our car. I focused on our car and mentally instructed it to follow after us and crash on the vehicle we are riding. Lol. When we passed by our car, its engine reved up and went back to the road in a careless manner as if the driver inside was mad or something. Our car went fast and I got scared because it was doing what I instructed ot to do. Amd a millisecond before it hit us, I woke up feeling weird and nervous Lol.

It was an amazing dream still. It felt so thrilling and I wish I could experience it again and I hope I don't get scared next time.

Lucid dreams can be fun! Especially if you try to fly! If you want to have the chance to have another one, you should hold your nose but also try to breath in through your nose. Yes it sounds silly because it's impossible but in the dream it is possible. If you can't breath then you know you're awake. If you can then you know you're dreaming! You have to do it enough so that your brain remembers to do it while you dream too, so about 5 times a day. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have another one!

Yes!Trying to fly is what I am aiming for while in lucid dream! And maybe have fire come out from my hands. 🤣

Is that true? Okay, I'll try that. Hahaha Have tried lucid dreaming too?

Yes that method has worked for me randomly. There are more effective ways but they involve sleep paralysis and I'm scared of that!

Okay.. I'll try it. 😆
As for sleep paralysis, I've experienced it a couple of times. I got used to it so I'm less scared. Sometimes I try to do astral projection through sleep paralysis but always fail.

I've always wanted to astral project too! I think lucid dreaming though sleep paralysis might be a bit easier.
