Makeup Practice #8 [SPA/ENG]

Hola, espero estén teniendo un bonito día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes, el paso a paso de este maquillaje y contarles un poco acerca del diseño, el cual fue realizado totalmente por mi sobrina, ella tiene demasiado talento y muy buena disposición para estas cosas. Esta es una colaboración que queríamos hacer desde hace mucho tiempo y aprovechamos que vino de visita unos días, para llevarla a cabo. Esto es algo que, me hace sentir muy feliz y orgullosa, realmente me alegra poder mostrarlo.

Today I want to share with you, the step by step of this makeup and tell you a little about the design, which was made entirely by my niece, she has too much talent and very good disposition for these things. This is a collaboration that we wanted to do for a long time and we took advantage of the fact that she came to visit for a few days, to carry it out. This is something that makes me feel very happy and proud, I'm really happy to be able to show it.

A mí me hacía mucha ilusión maquillarla y ella también estaba bastante emocionada al respecto, para hacerlo ultra especial le sugerí que ideara el diseño por si misma y la verdad es que, amé lo que se le ocurrió. Yo estaba un poquito nerviosa a la hora de realizar el maquillaje, pues era mi primera vez maquillando a alguien más desde que, realicé los cursos y adquirí los conocimiento necesarios. Usualmente practicaba en mí y en nadie más, por lo que, esto representó un reto.

I was really looking forward to doing her make-up and she was also very excited about it, to make it ultra special I suggested her to come up with the design herself and the truth is, I loved what she came up with. I was a little bit nervous about doing the makeup, since it was my first time doing someone else's makeup since I took the courses and acquired the necessary knowledge. I usually practiced on myself and no one else, so this was a challenge.

Una vez realizada la preparación de piel, apliqué base y difuminé con una Beauty Blender, luego sellé con una brocha amplia y polvo suelto.

Once the skin prep was done, I applied foundation and blended with a Beauty Blender, then sealed with a wide brush and loose powder.

Tomé una brocha plana y apliqué corrector en el párpado, difuminé a toquecitos con una esponja y sellé con sombra verde claro.

I took a flat brush and applied concealer on the eyelid, blended on with a sponge and sealed with light green shadow.

Apliqué otros dos tonos de sombra verde y creé un degradado. Después hice una mezcla de sombra verde oscuro y Shadow Seal, con ella y un pincel fino, realicé un trazo en el rostro.

I applied another two shades of green shadow and created a gradient. Then I made a mixture of dark green shadow and Shadow Seal, with it and a fine brush, I made a line on the face.

Tomé el tono número 3 de la paleta Athena y un pincel delgado, para hacer dos triángulos con las esquinas redondeadas, los sellé con polvo traslucido, retiré el exceso y apliqué sombra de un tono similar al bodypaint.

I took shade number 3 from the Athena palette and a thin brush, to make two triangles with rounded corners, sealed them with translucent powder, removed the excess and applied shadow in a shade similar to the bodypaint.

Realicé dos mezclas más de Shadow Seal y sombra verde, primero apliqué la más clara y luego la más oscura, justo debajo de los triángulos fucsia. Con ayuda de un palillo de altura y delineador negro, hice las semillas de las sandías.

I did two more blends of Shadow Seal and green shadow, first I applied the lighter one and then the darker one, just below the fuchsia triangles. With the help of a height stick and black eyeliner, I made the watermelon seeds.

Con una brocha difuminadora pequeña apliqué el rubor y usé bodypaint cremoso para dar color a los labios, con los tonos 3 y 11 de la paleta Athena. Al ser tonos distintos, lo ideal es realizar primero el labio superior y después el inferior, yo lo hice al contrario pero no se los recomiendo. Este paso es bastante simple, sin embargo, requiere algo de cuidado para que los colores no se mezclen. Basta con aplicar bodypaint en el labio superior, sellar con una sombra del mismo tono y una vez listo, hacer lo mismo con el tono respectivo en el labio inferior.

With a small blending brush I applied the blush and used creamy bodypaint to color the lips, with shades 3 and 11 from the Athena palette. As they are different shades, the ideal is to do the upper lip first and then the lower lip, I did it the other way around but I don't recommend it. This step is quite simple, however, it requires some care so that the colors do not mix. Just apply bodypaint on the upper lip, seal with a shadow of the same shade and once ready, do the same with the respective shade on the lower lip.

Añadí unas hojas de sandía, con una pequeña cantidad de pega para pestañas. Dichas hojas las hice previamente y compartí un post con el paso a paso, por si les interesa. Para finalizar el maquillaje usé un lápiz retráctil para cejas y apliqué muy poco rímel en las pestañas.

I added some watermelon leaves, with a small amount of eyelash glue. I made these leaves previously and shared a post with the step by step, in case you are interested. To finish the makeup I used a retractable eyebrow pencil and applied very little mascara on the lashes.
