Microphone complement [SPA/ENG]

Hola, espero estén teniendo un bonito día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una manualidad muy sencilla, cuyo uso es bastante específico y se trata de un complemento para un micrófono. Debido a que, la clase en la que está mi sobrina, tiene próximamente una serie de exposiciones sobre las profesiones y ella hablará de los reporteros televisivos, esta es parte de la utilería destinada a dicha evaluación.

Hi, I hope you are having a nice day. Today I want to share with you a very simple craft, whose use is quite specific and it is a complement for a microphone. Because, the class my niece is in has a series of expositions about professions coming up and she will be talking about television reporters, this is part of the props for that evaluation.

Para realizarla usé una cartulina de hilo blanca reciclada, tijeras, un exacto, una regla, un portaminas, un borrador, pega blanca, un marcador permanente negro, un lapicero sin tinta y un compás. Antes de empezar la manualidad en sí, previamente realicé una prueba con hojas recicladas y fue así como logré dar con las medidas respectivas. Siempre es bueno hacer un modelo de prueba, para verificar que lo que tenemos planeado hacer realmente funciona o si le hacen falta ciertos ajustes.

To make it I used a recycled white string cardboard, scissors, an cutter, a ruler, a mechanical pencil, an eraser, white glue, a black permanent marker, a pen without ink and a compass. Before starting the actual craft, I previously made a test with recycled sheets and that's how I managed to find the respective measurements. It is always good to make a test model, to verify that what we plan to do really works or if it needs some adjustments.

Yo empecé marcando algunas medidas en los bordes de la cartulina, luego hice todos los trazos necesarios y una vez terminé, recorté algunas partes con las tijeras, otras con la regla y el exacto.

I started by marking some measurements on the edges of the cardboard, then I made all the necessary strokes and once I finished, I cut out some parts with scissors, others with the ruler and the cutter.

Les explico un poco el tema de las medidas, los laterales los hice de 6cm de ancho x 2 Inch de alto y el cuadro que sobresale de 6x6cm.

Let me explain a little about the measurements, I made the sides 6cm wide x 2 Inch high and the protruding frame 6x6cm.

Después tomé el lapicero sin tinta y empecé a marcar los dobleces, borré las líneas guía y doblé para ir definiendo la forma de la caja.

Then I took the pencil without ink and began to mark the folds, I erased the guide lines and folded to define the shape of the box.

Volteé la pieza y en el cuadrado de 6x6cm, realicé un trazado en forma de X de extremo a extremo. Abrí el compás en 2,25cm y tracé un círculo justo en el punto central del cuadrado, luego recorté dicho círculo.

I flipped the piece over and on the 6x6cm square, I made a X shape from end to end. I opened the compass at 2.25cm and traced a circle right at the center point of the square, then cut out the circle.

Doblé y pegué cada una de las pestañas, las dejé secar muy bien y así armé la caja.

I folded and glued each of the tabs, let them dry very well and assembled the box.

Hice el boceto de una M, remarqué, recorté, pegué en uno de los laterales y listo.

I sketched a M, marked it out, cut it out, glued it on one of the sides and that was it.

Agregar la caja al micrófono fue muy fácil, simplemente pasé el cable por medio del círculo y la caja quedó sujeta a unas hendiduras que tiene el micrófono, por lo que no hizo falta hacer mayor cosa para "armarlo" por así decirlo.

Adding the box to the microphone was very easy, I simply passed the cable through the middle of the circle and the box was attached to some slits in the microphone, so I didn't need to do anything else to "assemble" it, so to speak.
