Hello,

Today I share my favorite quote with you. This is Blog #3 of 150, I have sveral quotes that I like and believe in and fell as they are some of the things I use to get through life. Todays quote I started living by when I was about 30 ys old and it has served me well.

I take this quote for everything it says,oringally stated as "A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do" in a novel by John Steinbeck titled 'The Grapes of Wrath' in 1939. Source

While I believe in this quote I don't go along with all that is stated that this quote is to mean. It is stated to mean "mean that a man must do what he feels needs to be done, even if it is dangerous or undesirable". Source I will stop at anything dangerous.

However, to me this phrase means that you must step out your comfort zone from time to time to accomplish the task at hand or sometimes you need o do something that you don't want to or feel like doing it so you can complete something, sometimes simple everyday things, but you must do them to in order to finish whatever it is you need to do.

About Me & Blogging My Way

My Name is Charletta Allen known as SuccessChar here on Hive. I have been part of the Hive community for 3 years now & came to Hive with the CTP tribe. Here on Hive there is so much more to the surroundings than trying to get others to do what I do & I like that.
Blogging My Way is a blog based on a 5 part, 30 day challenge that caught my interest. My plan is to write a post once a week while following the outline & topics written for the 30 day challenge that was originally in the 'Blogging Challenge Community' which no longer exist, but as with anything on the blockchain it's still there & will always be. This is especially good for someone who is new to blogging/Hive & just don't know where to start or what to blog about.

I wouldn't say I have a favorite one. There are some I remember that have nothing to do with motivational stuff. Like "take the cannoli, leave the gun". Priorities. I will let you guess where that is from.
That all being said, yes I do agree with yours. We have to do what we have to do.

Can't say I ever heard that one before but my guess would be it comes from the 'Godfather' or some other gangster movie.

It wasn't actually Vito Corleone. It was Clemenza, one of his guys. And I have seen those movies just a few times. LOL

Yes those are interesting movies, real classics. I've only seen bits & pieces of them, but I should take the time to watvh all from beginning to end.

They truly are. I always enjoy watching them. And then when I watched the series on Paramount Plus called The Offer I got a whole other perspective. It tells the story of what went into making the first Godfather movie. It was quite the journey. Lots of behind-the-scenes stories.

Thank you so much for your blog post and about Your 30 Day Blogging Challenge!
This gives me some ideas of what to write. I have trouble thinking LOL! I'm having difficult
