Hello all lovers of drawings! Today is a very special day for me, because my partner @yugochin and me, we are four years old together. As due to work, we can not see each other until the weekend, I decided to make him as a detail, a commemorative drawing to deliver it today. Next, I will show you how the process of making this gift was.

First of all, I realized the sketch in my notebook, I thought about drawing us two with our cat Ikki, a cute and macrious black cat that we adopted during our courtship, becoming an inhabitant part in our lives. As my boyfriend fascinates the sweets and many times we went to eat ice cream, it occurred to me to draw us sitting on a large ice cream glass with four flavors, which would represent every year we spent together. Once I had ready a design that I liked a lot, I proceeded to pass it to digitally, taking a picture and opening the image through the App Medibang Paint. Through the program, I made some changes that seemed favorable in the drawing, more than anything of location of the elements.

Because he wanted to obtain a gif from the image, I elaborated two layers apart, corresponding to the faces: one with the eyes closed and another, with his eyes open. A quite simple but cute movement. Ah! And let’s not forget the ears and the tail of Ikki, who also move a little heh

Once ready the structure of the linearts, proceeded to go to the establishment of the color. I love the striking and colorful drawings, so I do not skimp into the use of color, especially in my clothes heh I love the stockings and I have some rainbow stripes, so I thought about adding them to the drawing. I currently have short and green hair, so I took advantage of representing my current look (soon, I plan to update my Hive Presentation Image, I hope you can see it at the time). Once I chose the base colors, I added the shadows. I added the detail of the syrup on ice cream, as well as gummies and cookies stuffed with chocolate (here, they are known as “pirulins”), to give you more gift to design.

Let’s talk about the detail of the eyes. In the pupils I drew a small color heart, as I added white color to brighten it. As I mentioned previously, I made two layers for the eyes. So when I painted my eyes, I did it in its independent layer, (as I usually do it with each layer of color), so that it could hide this layer when the eyes were closed.

The next thing I did was focus on making details of the ice cream so that it was seen more “delicious”, as drawing sparks of colors, as well as decorating the ice cream glass with our initials “Sue” and “Yugo”. With this, I had the main drawing ready.

For the bottom, I elaborated something simple, thus avoiding losing attention from the rest. Then I established a base color on which, using a brush of figures, I realized a few strokes in order to fill all the spaces in white, good strategy, no?

In two new more layers, I drew a few hearts. Once finished, I exported it in JPEG format. That was to have it as simple image. For the preparation of the GIF, I used the program Photoshop, saving the file (with all its layers) in PSD format, which is the type of format that Photoshop supports. Having previously elaborated layers, as I do, it is really easy to elaborate the GIFs. Simply open the PSD file and use a function called “Timeline”. Through it, you can create frames and in each of them, choose what specific layers we want them to be visible and which do not. Thus, the movement effect is created. When the movement is something like the eye blinking, it is very easy to achieve and in a couple of minutes, you can have your GIF ready.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los dibujos! Hoy es un día muy especial para mí, debido a que mi pareja @yugochin y yo, estamos cumpliendo cuatro años juntos. Como debido al trabajo, no podremos vernos hasta el fin de semana, decidí hacerle como detalle, un dibujo conmemorativo para entregárselo hoy. A continuación, les mostraré cómo fue el proceso de elaboración de éste obsequio.

Primero que nada, realicé el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujos, Pensé en dibujarnos a nosotros dos junto a nuestro gato Ikki, un lindo y macriado gato negro que adoptamos durante nuestro noviazgo, volviéndose una parte inportante en nuestras vidas. Como a mi novio le fascinan los dulces y muchas veces fuimos a comer helados, se me ocurrió dibujarnos sentados sobre una gran copa de helado con cuatro sabores, los cuales, representarían cada año que pasamos juntos. Una vez que tuve listo un diseño que me gustó bastante, procedí a pasarlo a digital, tomando una fotografía y abriendo la imagen a través de la app Medibang Paint. Mediante el programa, realicé algunos cambios que me parecieron favorables en el dibujo, más que nada de ubicación de los elementos.

Debido a que deseaba obtener un gif de la imagen, elaboré dos capas aparte, correspondientes a los rostros: Una con los ojos cerrados y otra, con los ojos abiertos. Un movimiento bastante sencillo pero lindo. ¡Ah! Y no olvidemos las orejas y la cola de Ikki, que también se mueven un poco je je

Una vez listo la estructura de los linearts, procedí a pasar al establecimiento del color. Me encantan los dibujos llamativos y coloridos, así que no escatimé en el uso del color, sobretodo en mi ropa je je Adoro las medias y tengo unas de rayas de arcoiris, así que pensé en agregarlas a al dibujo. Actualmente tengo el cabello corto y de color verde, así que aproveché de representar mi look actual (próximamente, tengo pensado actualizar mi imagen de presentación de Hive, espero que puedas verlo en su momento). Una vez que escogí los colores base, agregué las sombras. Añadí el detalle del syrup sobre el helado, así como unas gomitas y unas galletas rellenas de chocolate (aquí, se les conocen como "pirulines"), para darle más vistosidad al diseño.

Hablemos sobre el detalle de los ojos. En las pupilas dibujé un pequeño corazón de color, así como agregué color blanco para darle brillo. Como les hube mencionado anteriormente, realicé dos capas para los ojos. Así que cuando pinté los ojos, lo hice en su capa independiente, (como suelo hacerlo con cada capa de color), de modo que pudiera ocultar esta capa cuando los ojos estuviese cerrados.

Lo siguiente que hice fue enfocarme en realizarle detalles al helado para que se viera más "delicioso", como dibujando chispas de colores, así como decorando la copa del helado con nuestras iniciales juntas "Sue" y "Yugo". Con esto, tuve el dibujo principal listo.

Para el fondo, elaboré algo sencillo, evitando así perder la atención del resto. Establecí entonces un color base sobre el cual, utilizando un pincel de figuras, realicé unos cuantos trazos con el fin de llenar todos los espacios en blanco ¿Buena estrategia, no?

En dos nuevas capas más, dibujé unos cuantos corazones. Una vez terminado, lo exporté en formato JPEG. Eso fue para tenerlo como imagen sencilla. Para la elaboración del gif, utilicé el programa Photoshop, guardando el archivo (con todas sus capas) en formato PSD, el cual es el tipo de formato que admite Photoshop. Teniendo las capas previamente elaboradas, como yo hago, es realmente sencillo elaborar los gifs. Basta con abrir el archivo PSD y utilizar una función que se llama "Línea de tiempo". A través de ella, se pueden crear fotogramas y en cada uno de ellos, escoger qué capas en específico deseamos que sean visibles y cuales no. Así, se crea el efecto de movimiento. Cuando el movimiento es algo como el pestañeo de los ojos, es muy fácil de lograr y en un par de minutos, puedes tener tu gif listo.
