Hello to all insect lovers! One of the things that I had to deal with during all the years that I lived in a rural area was the inevitable encounter with insects of all kinds and although there are still some that make me terrify just seeing them, I have learned to live with many of them. they. As is the case with grasshoppers. Where I live (Venezuela), there is a kind of belief that if a grasshopper enters your house, it means that visitors will come. No idea where that idea came from, but when a grasshopper enters our home, we immediately think of removing it, not because we don't like its presence, since we consider it a beautiful insect, but out of fear that it will fall into the kitty's clutches. of the house, who loves to play with any invader who dares to enter his domain. As a lover of the color green, I am fascinated by the tone of these little animals, they look like leaves that one day got tired of being attached to the branches and decided one day to bend until they obtained that shape and be able to jump everywhere. When they are static, they give the allusion of not having life, returning to being a simple leaf resting on the surfaces...

Although it is not an insect as such, one of the most commonly found animals are spiders. I have many friends who have a phobia of them, but curiously I never developed a fear of them. Despite their strange appearance, I realized that they really are harmless. When one is located in a dangerous area, if possible, I try to mobilize it to another place. I like to take it from the web with care and the feeling of comfort when the spider settles in the new place. At home it is more difficult to ensure their well-being, but when you are in the yard, there are some that jump on your legs. I admit that the shock makes me jump, but realizing that it is a spider, I am calmer again.

I adore the shapes of the leaves and their curious nerves. While I was looking for leaves to photograph, I came across an ant or bachaco. I wanted to see how much I could detail with the maro function of my phone, obtaining an interesting contrast between the colors black and green (Yes, that's what I noticed ha ha). I will always be amazed at the ability of certain insects to walk attached to surfaces against gravity. It would be so useful to humans if we could do it.

Continuing with the incredible ability of ants to walk on surfaces with angles that would be impossible for us, I was able to detail one carrying an insect on its back. I felt bad for the victim who would surely end up inside the anthill, but I couldn't help but detail the painstaking skill with which the ant tried to walk up the wall carrying another insect in its jaw. However, after a few seconds, the weight of both was too much and the ant plummeted next to its prey. Even so, the ant started the journey again. Tremendous, I admire your perseverance 😶

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los insectos! Una de las cosas a las que tuve que enfrentarme durante todos los años que viví en una zona rural, fue el inevitable encuentro con insectos de todo tipo y aunque todavía hay algunos que me causa pavor el sólo verlos, he aprendido a convivir con muchos de ellos. Como es el caso de los saltamontes. En donde vivo (Venezuela), existe una especie de creencia de que si algún saltamontes entra a tu casa, significa que vendrán visitas. Ni idea de dónde salió esa idea, pero cuando un saltamontes entra a nuestro hogar, nosotros inmediatamente pensamos en sacarlo, no porque no nos guste su presencia, puesto que lo consideramos un insecto hermoso, sino por temor a que caiga en las garras del gatito de la casa, quien adora juguetear con todo invasor que se atreva a entrar en sus dominios. Como amante del color verde, me fascina el tono de estos animalitos, lucen como hojas que un día, se cansaron de estar pegadas a las ramas y decidieron un día doblarse hasta obtener esa forma y poder dar brincos por todos lados. Cuando están estáticos, dan la alusión de no tener vida, volviendo a ser una simple hoja posada sobre las superficies...

Aunque no es un insecto como tal, uno de los animalitos que más se consiguen son las arañas. Tengo muchas amistades que les tienen fobia a las mismas, pero curiosamente yo nunca desarrollé un miedo hacia ellas. A pesar de su apariencia extraña, me di cuenta que realmente son inofensivas. Cuando una está ubicada en una zona peligrosa, si es es posible, trato de movilizarla a otro lugar. Me gusta tomarla de la red con cuidado y la sensación de confort cuando la araña se posa en el nuevo lugar. En casa es más difícil procurar su bienestar, pero cuando se está en el patio, hay algunas que saltan a las piernas. Admito que la impresión me hace pegar un brinco, pero al fijarme de que se trata de una araña, vuelvo a estar más tranquila.

Adoro las formas de las hojas y sus curiosos nervios. Mientras me encontraba buscando hojas para fotografiar, me hallé con una hormiga o bachaco. Quise ver que tanto podía detallar con la función maro de mi teléfono, obteniendo un interesante contraste entre los colores negro y verde (Si, en eso fue que me fijé ja ja). Siempre me sorprenderá la habilidad de ciertos insectos de poder caminar apegados a superficies en contra de la gravedad. Sería tan útil para los humanos si pudiéramos hacerlo.

Continuando con la increíble habilidad de las hormigas de caminar sobre superficies con ángulos que para nosotros, sería imposible, pude detallar a una llevando a cuestas a un insecto. Me sentí mal por la victima que seguramente acabaría dentro del hormiguero, pero no pude evitar detallar la afanosa habilidad con la que la hormiga trataba de caminar por la pared llevando otro insecto en su mandíbula. Sin embargo, a los pocos segundos, el peso de ambos fue demasiado y la hormiga cayó en picada junto a su presa. Aún así, la hormiga volvió a iniciar el recorrido. Tremendo, admiro su constancia 😶
