Todo comenzó el día en que descubrí que tenemos vecinos felinos. Anteriormente los vecinos humanos no tenían gatos, así que la noticia me tomó por sorpresa, ya que estoy acostumbrado a estar solo en mi soledad solitaria. Desde entonces, tuve que asumir el rol de vigilante, ya que mis humanos suelen dormir toda la noche y todos sabemos que esa es la hora de patrullaje de todo gato 🙄 así que bueno, procuro dormir todas mis siestas en el día para estar bien pendiente cuando cae la noche. Sólo que a mi mamá humana no le gusta eso, así que suele atravesar uno de mis rascadores en la puerta, para que los gatos vecinos no metan las patitas por debajo de la puerta (como ya han hecho antes), pero eso no me gusta, así que suelo moverlo con mis patas.

Only my human mom doesn't like that, so she usually goes through one of my scratchers at the door, so that neighboring cats don't stick their paws under the door (as they've done before), but I don't like that. , so I usually move it with my paws.

Como es natural, necesito tener visión de los intrusos, lo cual es difícil si tienes una gran estructura de metal evitándote la visión. Así que suelo realizar un salto mortal súper alto en el que pongo en riesgo mi vida, todo para hacer correctamente mi trabajo como vigilante ¡Lo que hacemos por custodiar el territorio!

Eso no le gusta para nada a mi madre humana, quien se preocupa y piensa que puedo llegar a lastimarme. Así que estoy tratando de involucrar a los humanos en la tarea de vigilia, por lo que, suelo chillar en la madrugada para despertarlos y sí darles a entender que termina mi turno y comienza el de ellos... claro que ellos aún no lo entienden y se molestan conmigo. Pero ¿Qué se va a hacer? Es parte de las obligaciones de un vigilante gatuno 🙄algún día me lo agradecerán. Me conformo con mantener nuestro nido seguro y libre de intrusos.

Luego de un patrullaje agotador, suelo ceder el mando a los humanos, para retirarme a descansar. Creo que mi mamá humana entiende que lo que hago no es malo, porque cuando se levanta suele llenarme de mimos y me peina, a veces nos quedamos dormidos juntos, porque ya saben, los humanos no saben patrullar, se distraen mucho, sobre todo con esos molestos teléfonos celulares con los cuales no dejan de fotografiarnos. A esos no hay quien los detenga 🙄 Bueno mis compañeros, debo retirarme, otra siesta se aproxima. Suerte en todos sus patrullajes, que nunca les falte las croquetas y recuerde: tomen agüita.
