¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy quiero mostrarles un maravilloso mural que se encuentra ubicado en la ciudad de Barquisimeto en Venezuela, más específicamente en la plaza Altagracia, plaza que siendo sincera, es de las tantas descuidas en esta ciudad. Me recordó el mural ubicado en la plaza de los libros, ya que se encuentra ubicado en la pared ubicada en el fondo, a donde los transeúntes no se acercan nunca. El dibujo representa un paisaje urbano de vieja época y sus colores, en escala de grises en su totalidad, le da a la obra un aire de misticismo, pero de igual forma, hace que se pierda entre las sombras de los árboles. No sé quién lo pintó ni cuando, es peligroso sacar en teléfono en esa zona, así que todo fue apresurado, sin darme chance de buscar si existía alguna firma.

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you a wonderful mural that is located in the city of Barquisimeto in Venezuela, more specifically in the Altagracia square, a square that, being honest, is one of the many neglects In this city. It reminded me of the mural located in the square of books, since it is located on the wall located in the background, where passers-by never come near. The drawing represents an old-time urban landscape and its colors, in total grayscale, give the work an air of mysticism, but in the same way, it makes it lose itself in the shadows of the trees. I don't know who painted it or when, it is dangerous to get on the phone in that area, so everything was rushed, without giving me a chance to find out if there was a signature.

La perspectiva del dibujo te atrapa y ciertamente te da la sensación de estar dentro de la pintura, admirando aquella calle que está detenida en el tiempo. Es difícil acceder al mural ya que el sitio está lleno de basura, ya que el lugar sirve de casa de algunos vagabundos y el sitio, es considerado como "zona roja" en el estado, por lo que, no pude tomar más que estas fotografías, para evitar ser el blanco de personas malintencionadas que buscan de aprovecharse de los solitarios que van a sentarse un rato en las plazas (yo misma tengo una mala experiencia sobre eso, pero, ese es otro tema, lo importante es que aprendí la lección je je).

The perspective of the drawing catches you and certainly gives you the feeling of being inside the painting, admiring that street that is stopped in time. It is difficult to access the mural since the site is full of garbage, since the place serves as a home for some homeless people and the site is considered a "red zone" in the state, so I could not take more than these photographs , to avoid being the target of malicious people who seek to take advantage of the lonely who are going to sit for a while in the squares (I myself have a bad experience about that, but, that is another topic, the important thing is that I learned the lesson heh heh).

Siendo sincera, no estaba segura si participar con éste mural en el concurso, ya que sus colores, no lo hacen ciertamente llamativo. Pero, al final decidí que era necesario mostrarlo, para evitar que siguiera oculto entre las sombras, ya que como mencioné, el mismo permanece lejos del ojo público por su desolada ubicación. Olvidado y detenido al igual que el mensaje del artista que quiso retratar. Que sea ésta entonces una publicación para admirarla y saber que en aquella plaza, hay una obra de arte a la espera de que el ojo ávido, sea capaz de hallarla.

To be honest, I was not sure whether to participate with this mural in the contest, since its colors certainly do not make it striking. But, in the end I decided that it was necessary to show it, to prevent it from remaining hidden in the shadows, since as I mentioned, it remains far from the public eye due to its desolate location. Forgotten and stopped just like the message of the artist that he wanted to portray. Let this be then a publication to admire and know that in that square, there is a work of art waiting for the avid eye to be able to find it.
