Esta semana me he animado a contestar a las dos preguntas del concurso, aunque de manera separada, para no hacer un post tan largo je je La vez pasada, hablé acerca de mis pasiones y entre ellas, estaba la de hacer manualidades y coser, algo que me ha ayudado al negocio que tengo pensado levantar.

Hello everybody! This week I have decided to answer the two questions of the contest, although separately, so as not to make such a long post hehe Last time, I talked about my passions and among them, there was doing crafts and sewing, something that has helped me to the business that I plan to start.

💚 Cuéntanos sobre tu emprendimiento, proyecto, negocio o plan para mejorar tu situación económica. 💚

Mi idea es la de ofertar diferentes productos, pero en su totalidad o mayoría, que sean elaborados por mí o de manera artesanal. Desde bolsos, cartucheras, estuches para guardar cosméticos, ropa, accesorios para el cabello, bisutería, peluches y cualquier cosa que me llame la atención su fabricación. Aprovechando mis conocimientos de costura y mi facilidad para las artes manuales.

💚 Tell us about your venture, project, business, or plan to improve your economic situation 💚

My idea is to offer different products, but all or most of them, that are made by me or by hand. From bags, pencil cases, cases to store cosmetics, clothes, hair accessories, jewelry, stuffed animals and anything that catches my attention. Taking advantage of my knowledge of sewing and my facility for manual arts.

💚 ¿Cuándo apareció la idea? 💚

Hace unos años atrás, comencé a hacer peluches para mi misma. Como tenía conocimiento de costura básicos, los realizaba a mano y con telas viejas. Cuando empecé a asistir a los eventos de animación japonesa, hice un curso de costura para poder elaborar mis propios trajes y de esa forma, poder realizar las ropas de los peluches que quería hacer. Pronto comencé a tener pedidos para hacer peluches o trajes para estos eventos. Del mismo modo, realicé un curso de manualidades y las cosas que realizaba, también le parecían atractivas a quienes se los mostraba. Así que, decidí hacer una página de Facebook SUECITOS, para mostrar lo que hacía y guardar las fotos. Tuve visualizaciones y likes en su tiempo, pero como no contaba con acceso a internet, perdí muchos negocios por enterarme a las semanas o incluso a los meses, de los pedidos de los clientes. Fue así, como abandoné prácticamente el negocio y me enfoqué en mi trabajo.

💚 When the idea appeared? 💚

A few years ago, I started making stuffed animals for myself. Since I had basic sewing knowledge, I made them by hand and with old fabrics. When I started attending Japanese animation events, I took a sewing course to be able to make my own costumes and thus be able to make the clothes for the stuffed animals I wanted to make. Soon I started getting orders to make stuffed animals or costumes for these events. In the same way, I took a crafts course and the things I made also seemed attractive to those who showed them to me. So, I decided to make a Facebook page SUECITOS, to show what I did and save the photos. I had views and likes back in the day, but since I didn't have internet access, I lost a lot of business by finding out after weeks or even months of customer orders. That was how I practically abandoned the business and focused on my work.

💚 ¿Cómo hiciste el plan de negocios? 💚

A pesar de todo, seguía recibiendo uno que otro like, a pesar de que tenía mi página abandonada. Hasta que un día, recibí un mensaje de una persona, una chica que estaba muy interesada en mi trabajo y quería mandar a realizar algo para su madre. No pude aceptar, ya que estaba algo ocupada y no tenía nada para ofrecerle, pero ver su interés por lo que hacía me generó ruido. Fue así como decidí al tiempo, tratar de darle vida de nuevo a Suecitos, ya que estoy ubicada en un lugar más céntrico y cuento con acceso a internet, por lo que, pensé que lo más idóneo es regresar en forma de una tienda virtual y hacer entregas un día a la semana. Y en eso, estoy actualmente.

💚 how did you make the business plan? 💚

Despite everything, I kept getting one or another like, even though I had my page abandoned. Until one day, I received a message from a person, a girl who was very interested in my work and wanted to have something done for her mother. I couldn't accept, since I was a bit busy and didn't have anything to offer her, but seeing her interest in what I was doing made me noisy. That is how I decided at the time, to try to give life to Suecitos again, since I am located in a more central place and I have internet access, so I thought that the most ideal thing is to return in the form of a virtual store and make deliveries one day a week. And that's what I'm currently at.

💚 ¿Ha sido difícil encontrar proveedores o insumos? 💚

Como se trata de un negocio que estoy levantando de nuevo, cuento con materia prima que ya tenía en casa, así como de artículos que realicé en el tiempo en que empecé todo y que no encontré cómo vender, por lo mencionado anteriormente. En cuanto logre vender parte de esos artículos, tengo pensado comprar más material para fabricar nuevas cosas, ya que me he traído mi maquina de coser desde casa. Algo de lo que soy consiente, es que en mi país (Venezuela), muchos de los materiales que antes conseguía con facilidad, ahora puede que no se consigan (hace unas semanas atrás no conseguí pintura acrílica dorada por ningún lado 😓), pero confío plenamente en mi capacidad para elaborar cosas con los materiales disponibles, una de las alabanzas que me daba mi profesora de manualidades, cuando me veía trabajar la masa flexible utilizando como cortadores y moldes, mis propios dedos y uñas, pues no tenía de otra 🤣 Del mismo modo, tengo mi disposición al reciclaje, pudiendo elaborar lindas cosas con materiales económicos.

💚 Has it been difficult to find suppliers or inputs? 💚

As it is a business that I am building again, I have raw materials that I already had at home, as well as items that I made at the time I started everything and that I did not find a way to sell, due to the aforementioned. As soon as I manage to sell part of those items, I plan to buy more material to make new things, since I have brought my sewing machine from home. Something I am aware of is that in my country (Venezuela), many of the materials that I used to get easily, now may not be available (a few weeks ago I couldn't find gold acrylic paint anywhere 😓), but I trust fully in my ability to make things with the available materials, one of the praises that my crafts teacher gave me, when she saw me work the flexible dough using my own fingers and nails as cutters and molds, because I had no other choice 🤣 From In the same way, I have my willingness to recycle, being able to make beautiful things with cheap materials.

💚 ¿Se han identificado los clientes con su servicio? 💚

Aparte de lo comentado sobre mis comisiones de peluches y trajes para los eventos de animación japonesa, estuve un tiempo trabajando para un taller de costura elaborando delantales, cartucheras y otras piezas, siendo allí donde descubrí que lo que hacía, tenían bastante demanda de parte del público, de igual forma, cuando elaboré en el mismo lugar, piezas de pintura. De la misma forma, estuve un tiempo vendiendo en un mercado y tenía mis clientas, fascinadas por mis creaciones... Por lo que, confío en encontraré de nuevo el cariño del público, una vez que Suecitos, vuelva a las andadas.

💚 Have customers identified with your service? 💚

Apart from what I have said about my commissions of stuffed animals and costumes for Japanese animation events, I spent some time working for a sewing workshop making aprons, cartridge belts and other pieces, which is where I discovered that what I did was in high demand from the public, in the same way, when I elaborated in the same place, pieces of painting. In the same way, I was selling in a market for a while and I had my clients, fascinated by my creations... Therefore, I am confident that I will find the affection of the public again, once Suecitos, returns to the walked.
