¡Hola a todos! Me gustaría mostrarles la que fue mi primera comisión de dibujo. No soy "nueva" en esto de dibujar, pero debido a mis ocupaciones diarias, admito que el tiempo que le dedico al dibujo, ha sido muy poco. Esto me ha llevado a tener un avance bastante lento... pero, aún así, hago lo que puedo. Acepté el trabajo dado que se trataba de un dibujo sencillo: Un lineart.

Hi all! I would like to show you what was my first drawing commission. I'm not "new" to drawing, but due to my daily occupations, I admit that the time I dedicate to drawing has been very little. This has led me to have a fairly slow progress... but, still, I do what I can. I accepted the job since it was a simple drawing: A lineart.

Lo que mi clienta quería, era un diseño que pudiera trasladar a superficies como tazas, hojas para libretas e igualmente, en sus tarjetas de presentación. Por suerte, me facilitó un bocetaje que más o menos mostraba lo que quería: Un personaje sin género, con una mano en el corazón y la otra, sosteniendo el hilo de sus pensamientos. Debo admitir que me gustó mucho el concepto, así que inmediatamente puse manos a la obra. Tras mejorarlo y llevarlo a mi estilo, obtuve el boceto del logo. El cual le gustó mucho.

What my client wanted was a design that she could transfer to surfaces such as mugs, notebook sheets, and also on her business cards. Luckily, he provided me with a sketch that more or less showed what he wanted: A genderless character, with one hand on his heart and the other, holding the thread of his thoughts. I must admit that I really liked the concept, so I immediately got down to business. After improving it and bringing it to my style, I got the sketch of the logo. Which he liked very much.

El programa que utilicé para su digitalización fue la app Medibang Paint. Con la foto del boceto de fondo, procedí a delinearlo y limpiar las líneas lo mejor que pude.

The program I used for digitizing it was the Medibang Paint app. With the sketch photo in the background, I proceeded to outline it and clean up the lines as best I could.

Finalmente, se utilizó una fuente sencilla, que no le quitara vistosidad al dibujo. Al netregarlo, mi cliente quedó muy satisfecha y feliz, lo cual me dejó muy animada.

Finally, a simple font was used, which did not detract from the drawing. After cleaning it, my client was very satisfied and happy, which made me very happy.
