¡Hola a todos los amantes del arte callejero! Vengo a mostrarles lo que serían mis últimas fotografías de un viaje que hice a Caracas la capital de mi país (Venezuela). Fueron los primeros murales que me hallé en el camino, luego de haber llegado al sitio en donde se iba a realizar un evento al que me invitaron. Desde lejos los estuve observando y aunque me sentía tentada a ir a fotografiarlos, no fue hasta que pude escaparme un rato, que pude hacerlo. Son dos que están ubicados a las afueras de la UNEARTE, que es una universidad de arte de la capital, así que me imagino que fue realizado por los mismos estudiantes. Los trabajos que suelo encontrar por donde vivo, son más sencillos, así que dibujos más "realistas", siempre me sorprenden. Me gustó mucho la manera que el o los artistas, aprovecharon la estructura para elaborar su arte:

Hello to all lovers of street art! I come to show you what would be my last photographs of a trip I made to Caracas the capital of my country (Venezuela). They were the first murals that I found on the way, after arriving at the site where an event to which I was invited was going to take place. I was observing them from afar and although I was tempted to go photograph them, it was not until I was able to escape for a while that I was able to do so. They are two that are located on the outskirts of the UNEARTE, which is an art university in the capital, so I imagine that it was made by the same students. The jobs that I usually find where I live are simpler, so more "realistic" drawings always surprise me. I really liked the way the artist or artists took advantage of the structure to make their art:

El siguiente, es un mural en conmemoración a un ex presidente. Apartando las ideas políticas, el dibujo está increíble. Me fascinó el nivel de detalles en el rostro. Es la primera vez que me encuentro con un mural de éste tipo en persona, por eso mi impresión fue bastante grande y no pude evitar querer fotografiarlo. Pienso que eso es lo lindo del arte, muy a pesar de que el concepto no sea de tu agrado, eso no le resta valor a la pieza. Sin duda, de los mejores pinturas que me he encontrado hasta ahora.

Next up is a mural commemorating a former president. Apart from political ideas, the drawing is incredible. I was fascinated by the level of detail on the face. It is the first time that I come across a mural of this type in person, so my impression was quite great and I couldn't help but want to photograph it. I think that's the beauty of art, despite the fact that the concept is not to your liking, that does not detract from the value of the piece. Without a doubt, one of the best paintings I have come across so far.

El último dibujo, lo hallé en otro lugar. Fue bastante curioso, estaba caminando por las calles de la ciudad y lo vi al lado de una especie de taller, llamándome la atención. Entre todos los materiales, piezas y herramientas de color cobre, aquel pintoresco dibujo de manera extraña, resaltaba... Siento que de alguna u otra forma, estas exploraciones en busca de arte urbano, me han servido para mantenerme en el tiempo presente. Puedo estar caminando, aprisa por ir algún lugar, pero si hay un dibujo en un muro, inmediatamente me detengo, necesito verlo, reconocerlo, contemplarlo, tratar de encontrar el mensaje del artista y preguntarme cosas que se quedan sin respuesta, como mensajes que se lanzan en una botella al mar, sin la certeza de que recibirán respuestas ... Estoy segura de que si tuviese un automóvil o siquiera una bicicleta, daría paseos con la única finalidad de ver qué arte callejero me consigo en el camino. Es un actividad bastante divertida y realmente me reconforta.

The last drawing, I found elsewhere. It was quite curious, I was walking through the streets of the city and I saw it next to a kind of workshop, calling my attention. Among all the copper-colored materials, pieces and tools, that strangely picturesque drawing stood out... I feel that in one way or another, these explorations in search of urban art have served to keep me in the present time. I can be walking, in a hurry to go somewhere, but if there is a drawing on a wall, I immediately stop, I need to see it, recognize it, contemplate it, try to find the artist's message and ask myself things that remain unanswered, such as messages that are thrown in a bottle into the sea, without the certainty that they will receive answers ... I'm sure that if I had a car or even a bicycle, I would go for walks with the sole purpose of seeing what street art I get along the way. It is quite a fun activity and it really comforts me.
