(ESP/ENG) Pequeños detalles a nuestro alrededor / Little details around us

Hello to all nature lovers! Today I come to show you some photos I took with my phone (a Redmi 9), using the macro function. I really like this function, since it allows me to capture certain details that with the human eye, go unnoticed or are not fully appreciated. The first photo is of a small cactus. These plants are underappreciated, as they do not offer the visual beauty that a plant with its showy flowers provides. But there is no doubt that they are amazing, their abilities to grow in inhospitable places, as well as their small spines as a self-defense mechanism. There are several types, but this one in particular that I found is flat and smooth in texture. I love to see a bit of that texture in photography like the way the spines sprout, going from thin and sharp to thicker, claw-like ones. But an addition without a doubt, is the cobweb that a spider formed on top of the cactus, that fine but well-structured network, woven between the thorns as a support. Showing us that the way in which living things adapt to their environment is quite fascinating.

(Llamemos a esta foto: "Ubicando la red" / Let's call this photo: "Locating the network")

Let's move on to the next one. Do you know what plant it could be from? It's from a sunflower, more specifically its center. Since it had already completed its flowering time, it has lost its petals, but that does not mean that it neglects its beauty. In that center, to which the bees are attracted, there is a cluster of what look like small flowers. New possible sunflowers that will be born! Soon, several seeds will be concentrated among those flowers and if possible, they will give way to new sunflowers. I love the way a single sunflower can spread out so much by making so many seeds. Without a doubt, its greatness is not only due to its size. It is a plant so full of life, despite the fact that its own existence lasts so little.

(Esta será: "Nueva vida en proceso" / This will be: "New life in process")

For the next one to show, I will tell you that I don't know what kind of plant it is, but it has some seeds that look like small grapes and although I had several in good condition, I was tempted to photograph those that were about to wither. A couple of months ago, I was looking for photos of rotting fruit for a drawing project. I found it quite fascinating the way in which the fruits are turning during this whole process. The color they take, the shape they take, even the texture and if you can appreciate it, the aroma. But apparently, it gives the feeling of a "recollection", as if the fruit were looking to return to some place inside itself... something like that or maybe I'm thinking too much hehe

(Pongámosle: "Frutos no tan tiernos" / Let's put it: "Fruits not so tender")

To finish, I will show you some photographs of the flowers that the plant that bears the fruits of the previous photograph gives. They are small flowers, quite pretty and striking, they can come in different colors, but I have only seen pink, yellow and white, even having two colors at the same time. Something that I like very much when it happens in nature, is as if the plant, when the time comes to bloom, says: "Oh, I can't decide whether my flowers should be pink or yellow... I know! be both!" I know there is a scientific explanation for this phenomenon, but you know, us humans with our mania for humanizing everything hehe These flowers, despite being quite simple separately, become much more beautiful when they grow together with others, as if were a small bouquet of flowers. That makes me think that it would be the perfect bouquet for the wedding of a small creature, like fairies... And again, I start thinking about strange things hehe

As you can see, even small things have great treasures waiting to be discovered and analyzed. This kind of experience allows me to stop for a moment in my busy life and observe what is around me to think, What little treasures have I stopped appreciating because I did not use the correct lens? Thank you very much for visiting my publication. I hope you found it interesting.

See you next time!
