¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta maravillosa plataforma! Me gustaría relatarles uno de mis más grandes logros gracias a HIVE hasta ahora y eso es haber podido realizar el fin de semana pasado, un viaje a la capital de mi país (Venezuela), para poder ir a visitar a mis seres queridos. Y es que desde hacía unos cuatro años más o menos, no veía a mi abuela y a mis tíos, ya que yo me encuentro viviendo en otro estado (En Barquisimeto, para ser más exactos). Ya había podido ver a mi madre en Diciembre, cuando ella vino a visitarnos, pero cuando hizo el esfuerzo para volver en semana santa, lamentablemente yo no pude ir a casa por mi trabajo. Este hecho la dejó bastante triste y saber que se encontraba deprimida por no haberme podido ver, me dejó con una enorme culpa. Siendo que todos estos meses, me he estado dedicando al trabajo y a los estudios, dejando a veces de lado, lo que realmente es importante. Así que, me @maisugar para organizar todo para un viaje hasta Caracas, mi ciudad natal.

Hello to all the members of this wonderful platform! I would like to tell you about one of my greatest achievements thanks to HIVE so far and that is having been able to make a trip to the capital of my country (Venezuela) last weekend, to be able to visit my loved ones. darlings. And it is that for about four years or so, I had not seen my grandmother and my uncles, since I find myself living in another state (in Barquisimeto, to be more exact). I had already been able to see my mother in December, when she came to visit us, but when she made the effort to return for Easter, unfortunately I couldn't go home because of my work. This fact left her quite sad and knowing that she was depressed for not having been able to see me, left me with enormous guilt. Being that all these months, I have been dedicating myself to work and studies, sometimes leaving aside what is really important. So, I @maisugar to organize everything for a trip to Caracas, my hometown.

Por suerte, gracias a mis publicaciones pasadas (cuando estaba más activa je je) tengo mis pequeños ahorros, por lo que dispuse de ese dinero para el pasaje y por supuesto, los obsequios que le llevaría a mi madre (ya que había pasado su cumpleaños y día de las madres sin poder acompañarla), mi abuela y mi hermano mayor. Fue una labor de varias semanas, planeando conseguir lo que ellos querían o necesitaban. En el caso de mi madre, pude comprarle un perfume que había dicho visto en Diciembre y dicho que quería, al igual que una estructura para colocar los pasteles a la hora de la decoración (ya que a ella le gusta la repostería), entre otras cosas, entre ellas, golosinas de café y de coco, porque le encanta je je. Para mi abuela, adquirí un pendrive de 32GB, siendo que mi hermano mayor nos había hecho el favor de preguntarle como cosa suya, qué cosa ella quería, confesándole que quería el pendrive para escuchar música en su reproductor. A mi hermano le compré sólo unos cuantos calcetines, porque sus gustos son más complicados y no tuve suficiente tiempo para obtener un regalo que le gustase je je

Luckily, thanks to my past publications (when I was more active hehe) I have my little savings, so I had that money for the ticket and of course, the gifts that I would bring to my mother (since her birthday had passed and Mother's Day without being able to accompany her), my grandmother and my older brother. It was a labor of several weeks, planning to get what they wanted or needed. In the case of my mother, I was able to buy her a perfume that she had seen in December and said that she wanted, as well as a structure to place the cakes at the time of decoration (since she likes pastries), among others things, including coffee and coconut treats, because he loves it hehe. For my grandmother, I bought a 32GB flash drive, since my older brother had done us the favor of asking her, as his thing, what she wanted, confessing that he wanted the flash drive to listen to music on his player. I only bought a few socks for my brother, because his tastes are more complicated and I didn't have enough time to get a gift he liked hehe

Como el fin de semana lo tenía libre, viajamos el viernes temprano. Eso si, mi madre no tenía la más mínima idea de que sus locas hijas iban en camino. Así que sin ningún contratiempo, tuvimos un viaje tranquilo de varias horas y llegamos hasta la casa de mi abuela materna.

Since he had the weekend free, we traveled early on Friday. That if, my mother had no idea that her crazy daughters were on the way. So without any mishap, we had a leisurely ride of several hours and arrived at my maternal grandmother's house.

Una vez que llegamos nos encontramos con mi abuela y mi hermano, quienes se pusieron bastante contentos con nuestra llegada. Almorzamos y esperamos a que mi madre llegase de su trabajo. Estábamos bastante emocionadas por verla, tanto que mi hermana no quería comer je je Una vez que escuchamos que había llegado, salimos a recibirla... Fue una enorme sorpresa para ella, se alegró bastante de vernos. No podía creer que habíamos viajado casi por 6 horas para verla. Sin mencionar que se alegró muchísimo con sus regalos, forrados con un hermoso papel de regalo con diseño de café ¡Ella ama el café! Era el papel perfecto para ella, no quería romperlo ja ja

Once we arrived we met my grandmother and my brother, who were quite happy with our arrival. We had lunch and waited for my mother to come home from work. We were quite excited to see her, so much so that my sister didn't want to eat hehe Once we heard that she had arrived, we went out to greet her... It was a huge surprise for her, she was quite happy to see us. I couldn't believe we had traveled almost 6 hours to see her. Not to mention, she was overjoyed at her gifts, wrapped in beautiful coffee patterned wrapping paper. She loves coffee! It was the perfect role for her, she didn't want to break it ha ha

Al día siguiente, el sábado, tuvimos un pequeño paseo entre los cuatro (mi hermano menor se quedó en Barquisimeto, de lo contrario hubiésemos estado todos 😥). Salimos al centro de la ciudad, para recordar viejos tiempos, como viajar en el metro y las avenidas que tenía años sin recorrer. Debo admitir que vi todo muy diferente. Ya que en donde vivo actualmente, todo es más amplio y en la capital, todo se ve tan pequeño je je sin mencionar la jerga del lugar... ¡me sentía tan en casa! A pesar de tener años viviendo en Barquisimeto, las personas siempre se dan cuenta de que mi acento es diferente.

The next day, Saturday, the four of us had a short walk (my younger brother stayed in Barquisimeto, otherwise we would all have been 😥). We went out to the center of the city, to remember old times, like traveling on the subway and the avenues that I hadn't traveled for years. I must admit that I saw everything very differently. Since where I currently live, everything is bigger and in the capital, everything looks so small hehe not to mention the slang of the place... I felt so at home! Despite having lived in Barquisimeto for years, people always notice that my accent is different.

Estuvimos paseando por varias tiendas, aprovechando de comprar un par de cositas, pero más que nada para hacer lo que mi madre llama "comer vidrieras" que es cuando uno va a las tiendas solo a mirar je je Luego, fuimos a comer a una feria de comida. Pedimos comida china, hamburguesa y hot dogs. Fue divertidos porque nos repartíamos lo que compramos para probar de cada una, como si estuviésemos en un bufet ja ja ja También fuimos a comer helado a una parte que le gusta mucho a mi madre. Teníamos tiempo sin salir juntos a comer lo que nos apeteciera y realmente quedamos llenos je je

We were walking through various stores, taking advantage of buying a couple of little things, but more than anything to do what my mother calls "eating shop windows" which is when you go to the stores just to look hehe Then we went to eat at a fair of food. We ordered Chinese food, hamburger and hot dogs. It was fun because we shared what we bought to try each one, as if we were at a buffet ha ha ha We also went to eat ice cream at a part that my mother likes a lot. We had time without going out together to eat whatever we wanted and we were really full hehe

Finalmente volvimos a casa. Y el día domingo, la pasamos encerrados porque estuvo lloviendo todo el día. Me gusta mucho el clima de allá, hace frío todo el tiempo, a diferencia de Barquisimeto, donde te sientes como dentro de un horno y es milagro que esté fresco ja ja En fin, comimos sopa de mi abuela y jugamos Monopoly con mi primo. Fue un día tranquilo pero bastante relajante y a pesar de no haber estado ahí por años, debo admitir que me sentí como si nunca me hubiese ido. Una de las cosas que me compré en una de las tiendas, fue un bolso que vi en una tienda virtual y que iba a comprar, lo mejor de todo es que lo conseguí ¡A mitad del precio! Aparte de mi color favorito 💚 No tenía pienso de comprarme algo así, pero me di ese obsequio por mi esfuerzo a lo largo de estos meses.

We finally came home. And on Sunday, we spent it indoors because it was raining all day. I really like the weather there, it's cold all the time, unlike Barquisimeto, where you feel like you're inside an oven and it's a miracle that it's cool ha ha Anyway, we ate my grandmother's soup and played Monopoly with my cousin. It was a quiet but quite relaxing day and despite not having been there for years, I must admit that I felt as if I had never left. One of the things that I bought in one of the stores was a bag that I saw in a virtual store and that I was going to buy, the best of all is that I got it at half the price! Apart from my favorite color 💚 I didn't think about buying something like that, but I gave myself that gift for my effort throughout these months.

Mi hermana y yo, no queríamos regresar, pero las ocupaciones de ambas no podían esperar mucho tiempo. Así que el lunes en la mañana, nos regresamos... Estoy sumamente agradecida con esta plataforma. Gracias a Hive éste viaje pudo hacerse posible, al igual que las cosas que pude llevar como obsequios. He logrado muchas cosas que con mis ingresos por mi trabajo, no hubiese podido y eso me anima a seguir aquí, aparte que me encanta escribir je je También esta publicación es una constancia para los que están empezando o los que piensan que no se puede lograr algo publicando. My sister and I didn't want to go back, but the occupations of both of us couldn't wait long. So on Monday morning, we go back... I am extremely grateful for this platform.
