Sleepy Noori

If you have pets, you will agree how they become your babies and are no more animals. People who don’t have pets are would say, ‘how can you let them sit on your bed’, or ‘don’t you wash hands after touching them’ and some also say ‘shoo them away’. As a pet parent, I literally hate such people.
It’s very cold these days in the north India region. Cats usually don’t feel that cold because of the heavy, warm fur they have on them. But this cold is intolerable.

Noori feels very cold these days but she doesn’t like to wear clothes because then she is not able to lick and clean herself. So she sleeps on our bed inside my blanket.

It’s so comforting to sleep with her, as much it is with Raag. She won’t hug me but gives a lot of warmth.

Pets are actually amazing, they teach you how to love unconditionally and make you realise there is a world beyond our own selves. I love my cat 🐱
