New Year and New Beginnings
As exciting as this post might sound from the head line, it is going to be completely opposite when it comes to reality.
We all welcome new year with a lot of hopes and smiles, we start good and it gets better as time passes. I did the same. But something really different happened to me this time.
On the 1st of Jan, I ate the left over food from last night since my house help was not at home and Raag wouldn't let me cook in peace. In the evening, I developed nausea and vomited everything out. It felt ok after an hour or so.
The next day my house help was supposed to come back in the evening around 4 PM. But she lost her way and came back at 9 instead. I wasn't keep too well either so it was bad.
The next day, 3rd of Jan, I noticed my eyes looked pale yellow. I waited till the evening and noticed the yellow got more noticeable. I immediately booked a liver test for myself.
On 4th of Jan, I got my blood test done and the reports came in the evening. I apparently had infection in liver and got jaundice because of that. I started my medication for jaundice immediately. I was supposed to take complete rest and eat oil free, light food. My house help was managing Raag and everything else. She was cooking food for me separately.
On 5th Jan, towards the evening, my house help told me she was feeling feverish. I immediately isolated her in a separate room. The next morning, I got her RTPCR done. So now, it was me managing myself, Raag, my house and everything.
Today her report has come and she is positive for Covid. With that, she has to be isolated for the next 1 week. And here I am, with Jaundice, but no time to rest or take care of myself.
On top of it, I joined my new organization on 4th (even when I had jaundice). So I need to perform as well.
On top of it, I have to post as well because this is another source of income for me which helps me meet my extra expenses.
God, please save me. Don't bring anything more for me this new year. I am done with my set of problems and illness for this year.

Reality doesn't care what our calendar is, sometimes it comes at us unexpectedly with all its force. Hold on, you're you're strong, you'll get through it, and you'll get even stronger... The New Year tests you before it gives you something bigger and more important, something much better.
God loves you. Jesus is with us.
