Yesterday me and my friends we all celebrated Holika Dahan (SHIMGA) festival in our colony

Hello my dear friend @sanjeevm and Also My HIVERS friends and also @asean.hive community friends.
I hope you are all is very happy and enjoy your life with your family and also your health are very amazing.

Hello friends, today through our blog I am going to tell you guys how we celebrated Shimga festival ie Holika dahan yesterday. Friends in our Maharashtra Shimga festival is celebrated one day before Holi festival as per Maharashtrian tradition. Shimga i.e. Holika Dahan is celebrated here with great enthusiasm. So today I am going to tell you through this blog about why this festival is celebrated and how it is celebrated.

I have also uploaded a short video celebrating this festival on our platform Three Speak TV. The reason behind putting this video there is that you can see how it is done while celebrating this festival. Also, I am going to put the photos of celebrating this festival in today's blog.

Friends, when we celebrate Holika Dahan, all of us in our colony celebrate it together. A Holika is made for this. Holika is made using grass, cow dung gauri, and a piece of wood to make it. Then all the women in our colony worship that Holika and then the Holika is lit. This is how Holika Dahan is done. After that we all the people in the colony take darshan of that Holika. Everyone bows to that Holika. After that everyone puts coconut one by one in that Holika. And pray to Holika that in the flames of your fire, anger, hatred, jealousy, arrogance, laziness, all the faults in our hearts may be burnt and we pray that in the festivals that are not Holi tomorrow, we all continue to treat each other happily. Holika is prayed in this manner.

Then we hug each other from all the friends in the colony. There is a lot of chatting with each other. Also all the women in the colony chat with each other. In this way we all celebrate this festival of Holika Dahan with great joy and enthusiasm. Also we are discussing how to celebrate Holi festival in some communities of the colony. Because mainly during the festival of Holi, children are very happy playing color games. And that is what all of us adults plan for.

Friends in this manner we celebrated Holika Dahan together with all the people of the colony. Friends will tell one thing that while celebrating these festivals we all get together with friends and relatives. Chat with each other with love and happiness, discuss a lot with each other and also meet each other on this occasion. Indeed, friends, there is a different joy when celebrating these festivals. Today also I met the joy of the method on the occasion of Holika Dahan festival.

Also, while burning Holika, we also took lots of pictures together with all the family members and friends. So that these memories stay with us forever. And may we all continue to treat all together with joy and love. And while I was burning Holika, I also prayed that this love relationship with me and my friends and all my relatives may continue like this but let us all be happy like this.

THANKS 🙏
