Should You Own Multiple Credit Cards?

There are various opinions when it comes to Credit Cards and the most popular opinion is that Credit Cards are Bad for us and we shouldn't own any Credit Cards in our life. But I have a very different opinion when it comes to Credit Cards. Yes, I love to have Credit Cards with me and a bunch of them if I may add but the number of credit cards I hold every one of them has its unique aspect for which I took that Credit Card in the First Place.

I have three needs first is Oil as I work in Sales and I require to get Petrol every month and my Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card helps me with it as it gives me around 2 percent cash back on my Petrol Buying transactions and at the same time if I buy anything from FLIPKART I also get a 5 percent flat cashback on the number of items I purchase. This is one of my very first Credit Cards and I am maintaining this for a long time.

My Second Credit Card is the Amazon ICICI Credit Card which gives me around 5 percent cash back on my Amazon Purchases, and you might be wondering what is the caveat here and truth be told there isn't any as this Credit Card is not that unique and doesn't provide a lot of benefit to me but what it does provide is a Lifetime Free Credit Card with no Annual Maintenance Fees and a high Credit Limit for me. This way even if my spending is high on the Flipkart Axis Bank Card I still will have a good Credit Utilisation ratio as I have a High Credit Limit Card as well.

The third and Final Credit Card that I own is the brand new SBI Club Vistara Prime Credit Card which gets me Vistara CV points for every purchase I make. I like to travel a lot but since I have my hectic Job life I rarely find myself going someplace new and this Credit Card will enable me to travel far places with quickness as when I spend I will also gain Flight Miles which I can enjoy later when I have a couple of days off.

So, in conclusion, I am pro-Credit Card but at the same time, I will suggest that only get a Credit Card if it offers some side benefits like Flight Miles or Lounge Access or Free Movie Tickets and don't just get a Credit Card just because you are eligible for a Credit Card.
