National Museum of Bellas Artes
Hello friends of Hive, this weekend I took the opportunity to go to the Museum, I had wanted to do the tour for some time but with the pandemic, I had only been able to see part of it, since you can only spend half an hour inside the building and I had not been able to go through it completely.
Hola amigos de Hive este fin de semana aproveché para ir al Museo, tenía tiempo queriendo poder hacer el recorrido pero con la pandemia, solo había podido conocer una parte, ya que solo puedes estar media hora dentro del edificio y no había podido recórrelo completo.
This museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday and is located in the Recoleta neighborhood, on Av. Del Libertador, but behind it is the law school of the UBA (University of Buenos Aires). This school is enormous and I took the opportunity to take it photos and in a future post it will be dedicated to this site since its history is quite interesting.
Este museo está abierto de miércoles a domingo y está ubicado en el barrio de Recoleta, en la Av. del Libertador pero atrás queda la facultad de derecho de la UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires) esta facultad es enorme y aproveché la oportunidad para tomarle fotos y en un próximo post será dedicado a este sitio ya que su historia es bastante interesante.
After going through the faculty I went to the museum and saw that they had an exhibition of paintings by the Argentine artist Carlos Alonso that he did from 1966 to 2009. The building has two floors that are open to the public and have paintings, sculptures, ancient objects from different cultures, and they also have a room where they show videos about the history of art.
Luego de pasar por la facultad me fui al museo y vi que tenían una exposición de pinturas del artista argentino Carlos Alonso que hizo desde 1966 hasta el 2009. El edificio tiene dos pisos que están abierto al público y tienen pinturas, esculturas, objetos antiguos de distintas culturas y también tienen una sala donde proyectan videos sobre la historia del arte.
There were many paintings but in this case I took pictures of the paintings that I liked the most. One of the first works you see when you enter is the Portrait of Mademoiselle Henault by the painter Jean Marc Nattier, I was struck by how well the work is maintained since it was made in 1727, almost 300 years and is in perfect condition.
Habían muchísimas pinturas pero en este caso le tomé fotografías a las pinturas que más me gustaron. Una de las primeras obras que ves al entrar es el Retrato de Mademoiselle Henault del pintor Jean Marc Nattier, me llamó la atención lo bien que se mantiene la obra ya que esta fue hecha en 1727, casi 300 años y se mantiene en perfecto estado.
Next to the works there is a QR code that you can scan and thus you have the information of the work and the artist who made it. Also on some walls there is information about the history and culture of the works that are exhibited in that room, it seems to me a good idea so that you can know and appreciate more what you are seeing.
Al lado de las obras hay un código QR que puedes escanear y así tienes la información de la obra y del artista que la hizo. También en algunas paredes hay información sobre la historia y cultura de las obras que están exhibidas en ese salón, me parece una buena idea para así poder saber y apreciar más lo que estás viendo.
This work was made in the eighteenth century in the workshop of Frans Hals, a Dutch school and the author is anonymous, it is in oil on canvas and is called Portrait of a Gentleman.
Esta obra fue hecha en el siglo XVIII en el taller de Frans Hals, una escuela Holandesa y el autor es anónimo, está en óleo sobre tela y se llama Retrato de un Caballero.
The works are not only inside the museum, outside of it there are also sculptures made by national and international artists. Wherever you see it, it is a place to take a leap in the history of art.
Las obras no solamente están dentro del museo, fuera de este también se encuentran esculturas hechas por artistas nacionales e internacionales. Por donde lo veas es un sitio para dar un salto en la historia del arte.
