TRAVEL CHRONICLES : HABITS, EXPERIENCES, PREFERENCES

Taking trips could sometimes be a bittersweet experience for me. That's to mean that, although I like to travel, it is not always fun.

Ecploring is something I like but staying in transit for so long that I get covered in dust, my knees hurt and my legs feel numb is a no brainier for me. Surely, here, you might think that I prefer long distance travels but it's not exactly so. If I could paraphrase to understanding, you would get that I love to travel far but I wished that in certain situations the trip was shorter.

The trip I made back home in December of last year is one of such situations. It wasn't a new route I was playing or my first time on that one. Not even one of the longest trips I had been on. Just routine. But for the fact that I had spent the night working and rather than catch some sleep in the morning when I was off-duty, I jumped on a bus to travel, it was painstaking.

Fatigued from all the preparations and working all night, I could barely keep my eyes open. A bus isn't one of the most comfortable places to sleep and so my neck and body ached. I don't even want to talk about all the road bumps, traffic hawkers and brake controls that had me jerking every other minute. I sat beside two girls and at some point one of them asked why I was dozing tge way I was. But I how do I even explain? Other factors as poor weather conditions, traffic, disinterest(mostly in cases where I cannot but make the trip).

When it comes to packing for a trip, I don't know if I like it or not. It just puts me off sometimes and I can be spontaneous with the activity. I could have a trip scheduled for 10:00 a.m but only start putting my stuff together an hour prior. It's even crazier that I developed this habits where i go to shop for items i wpuld be travelling with, on the same day I am to travel. Making trips always takes money out of my wallet. Not for my bus fares but because I somehow find myself wanting one or two new stuff I otherwise never acknowledge the need of.
I could also start a week/two earlier to begin dumping one or two things or whatever into the travel bag until am ready for a proper arrangement.

While it is said that girls go with far too many stuff, I could equally put myself in that category. The difference ibeing that I am male and also that use this really big travelbag and of course, my backpack/schoolbag. Well that is quite dependent on how long I'd spend at the destination. Thing is, I like to go with some extra stuff, clothes, shoes, gadgets, personal effects, some things I need and some I think I need.
It can be a lot of stress going with too much stuff but be convinced that the size of my luggage lessens at my return; I may give out some stuff but especially, I tend to forget a few things.

For someone who has travelled more than half of the states in his country, you can be sure that traveling is something I enjoy.

For a more relaxed, fun trip, I like to sit by the window, inorder to get enough of the scenery and enjoy ventilation.
Adventure, exploration, visiting places, trying out meals, trying new stuff, learning cultures, appreciating nature and scenery and people are by far aspects of making trips that I love.

In conclusion, be it long or short travels, I have no qualms but under the circumstances thereof, both are dependent.

Half of the states! Wow ..
Must be fun for you at adventure to be traveling all the time. I don't know why but I don't really fancy it. I feel locked up inside that bus. It's crazy really. Nice writing by the way.

Football is actually pivotal to most of those trips.
I just like to travel. You do too, that's if the stressful factors involved in the trip are taken away.
