Radhe Radhe

Radha is the name of the love of Shri Krishna. When you start reading the Bhagvad Gita you'll get to know the real purpose of life. I'm still reading it, but the stage where i'm at i can tell you that we are here to spread love...unconditional love. We just have to get over all materialistic things.

In Suriname it's so that the hair that a child brings from their mothers womb has to be cut. This is meant to be inauspicious for the child. Therefor the hair has to be removed so that new hair can grow. This is called a 'sanskaar', and the whole family is then invited to bring gifts for the child and mother. We call this Mundan Sanskaar.

I'll try to create a full post with full details of a Mundan Sanskaar ceremony.
