Great to have you back at my post. I'm sure you already know what Niqaah is through my earlier posts. If you missed it no problem i'll try to give a quick resume about Niqaah in my own words.

Niqaah

Niqaah is nothing else than wedding, but done by Muslims. It has it own way with their own traditions. There are a lot of activities that are being held. I already explained some in my own words in earlier post and i'll try to bring more info about some activities.

Kitaab

What is Kitaab? Kitaab litteraly means a book, but in this case it's not just a book but it's the Koran. Kitaab is held at both the bride and groom's house. What happens on this day is that family and friends are invited to this event where Mulbi's (the Muslim priest?) reads of the Koran and explains. The duration is determined by the groom/bride. Sometimes it's an hour others read longer up to 5-6 hours.
