What do you do when the going gets tough?

People aren't usually that different; they're not so similar either. But somehow the majority has managed to fit in the elaborate jigsaw puzzle of society - some are corner puzzle pieces and some are pieces from the middle of the board. Each piece is significant and each has a place different from the other. If a piece of a puzzle is missing, the board remains incomplete. But what happens when a middle piece is put in the corner or is expected to fit in the middle of the board? And what if the board believes that every piece can be placed anywhere?

I have seen people trying to fit in - I have tried fitting in and I failed but no remorse. To me, it was tough - I was trying to fit in with the people around me and wondered what I was doing wrong. It took me years to figure out that I don't fit in but only took very little time to adjust to it. And after that I wondered how many others have been going through the same; more importantly, how many others still haven't had the realization they're not fitting in. What will happen to them when the realization finally kicks in and their life feels upended?

Well, you're trying to fit in. Your friends have good jobs and settled down. Almost everyone around you is accomplished in their way or at least has a stable and steady life, according to the definition that society has placed. You have tried liking what your acquaintances do but you're aware that they hold your interest for no longer than 2 minutes. And yet you keep making an effort to fit in but you hope someone will see what you're putting yourself through - you hope help will come your way. You beat yourself down much more than any others. How long will it take you to realize that the first person to be kind to you must be you or the fact that you help yourself before that help comes from somewhere else?

You're trying to fit in a place that may not be the right fit for you and maybe, just maybe, your place is on some other board. Life isn't over yet and do not end it before you have the chance to start. Tiredness and exhaustion will creep up on you and regardless of your trying, you can bring new people into your life but cannot fully discard the people who you have known for too long - discard doesn't fix anything here.

Be kind to yourself - you're doing much more than you realize. Be kind to yourself because there's a long way ahead of you. Be kind because you're not the best version of yourself yet. Be kind because you have yet to struggle some more. Be kind because if you're not kind to yourself, you won't be kind to anyone else and no one else will be kind to you.

Too optimistic for my taste. The life is meaningless, whatever you do, whatever you aspire to will be void once you're dead! 🙂😁
