Weekend Activity : Rambutan Picking

Hello everyone, it's me again @suteru for another weekend sharing.

Last Sunday we went to our family house , me and my son to pick some rambutan. My sister told me that the fruits are now ripe and ready for harvest.

Not to brag but I planted this rambutan trees when I was still in Highschool, it's from the seed that I transferred in our yard when I saw them germinating on the ridges where we throw the seeds after eating. We have other rambutan trees but far from our house. Look at them now giving us fruit that even my son get to enjoy them now .

They are really high now since we did not prune them , we just let them grow.

Anyway I can just get a bamboo to reach the fruit even if it's high. My sister already harvested some , but still many is left.

A lot of them fell during the last heavy rains, good thing many is still left for us .

After picking some, it's time for taste test, of course my son is the one that tried them. they're a little bit sour but still our son loves it. I guess he's like me I don't even blink even if I'm eating sour fruits.

We were so blessed that this fruits are able to bear fruits here in our place , the soil is good and we an abundant supply of water even during summer.

We took a few more just enough to consume for the weekend, Next week we will be back again to get some, maybe they will be sweeter since they will ripen more.
